  1. Embarrassing from Pardew, but credit where it's due he got his lineup spot on.
  2. Gameweek 28: Everton 2 - 1 West Ham Fulham 0 - 2 Chelsea Hull 1 - 0 Newcastle Stoke 1 - 2 Arsenal Southampton 2 - 2 Liverpool Aston Villa 1 - 1 Norwich Swansea 1 - 1 Crystal Palace Tottenham 2 - 0 Cardiff
  3. I didn't think he did the better of the two managers, the difference was we had Remy and they didn't. Not that Lambert's much of a manager either mind. I'd say he won more by default as opposed to getting the better of lambert. Villa looked happy for the draw, which when you consider our recent form is perhaps a little puzzling.
  4. I thought he did the better of the two managers today. We were there for the taking and if lambert had of shown some bottle and attacked us they would have won. We missed two guilt edged chances before the goal, but like a lot seem to be saying l, they were fashioned by villa mistakes as opposed to our forward play. Chronic lack if creativity in midfield is plain for all to see, and unless Ben Arfa returns we're in for an uninspiring end to the season.
  5. GW27: Chelsea 1-0 Everton Arsenal 2-0 Sunderland Cardiff 0-0 Hull Man City 4-0 Stoke West Brom 2-2 Fulham West Ham 1-1 Southampton C Palace 0-2 Man Utd Liverpool 3-0 Swansea Newcastle 1-1 A Villa Norwich 0-2 Tottenham
  6. My team would be: Krul Debuchy Williamson Coloccini MYM Anita Tiote Sissoko Ben Arfa Remy Gouffran What will happen though will be a 4-4-2 with Ben Arfa benched resulting in a thoroughly spirited 1-1 draw, and end to the rot. A huge confidence boost and continued sinking into mediocrity. 'we was glad to get a point on the board, team showed character yadayadayada'
  7. I'm resigned to accepting the fact we have a limited team and a limited manager. Not going to lay the blame at the feet of our players, after all its hardly their fault they're not good enough. The lack of investment is as clear as day and until the FCB leaves we're going to have to accept that we're going nowhere whatsoever other than into the depths of mediocrity. Our line-up looked encouraging on paper, but in reality a midfield pairing of Anita and Sissoko is never going to work considering neither is capable of playing centrally in a four-man midfield. The lack of creativity and movement in the first half was crippling, the only player intelligent enough to make the right kind of runs was Debuchy, and Anita always seems to make himself available but then there's nobody around or willing to show for the ball. We had a period in the second half when Marveaux came on and we looked a bit more fluid, but there was still no discernible pattern to our play, it all just seemed disjointed and awkward which is unacceptable considering this was Pardew's 150th game.
  8. Cardiff 1-2 Aston Villa Hull 1-1 Southampton West Ham 0-0 Norwich West Brom 0-2 Chelsea Arsenal 2-2 Man Utd Everton 2-1 Crystal Palace Man City 4-0 Sunderland Newcastle 0-2 Tottenham Stoke 1-0 Swansea Fulham 1-3 Liverpool

  10. That team is far from perfect like, but its not as if we have a raft of players to replace those selected with. There's a chronic lack of creativity in the middle, and Colo/MyM isn't great, but what can be expected with such a limited squad that is starved of investment?

    Hatem Ben Arfa

As bad as he was I felt a little sorry for him on Saturday. Our plan A seemed to be give the ball to Hatem and hope he does something whilst everyone else watches/stands around like statues. One instance at 0-2 he had the ball about 30 yards out and we had 6 players in a straight line 15 yards in front of him just standing there expecting him to do something, nobody came short or offered any kind of option or movement and quelle surprise, he gave the ball away. He was the only player on the pitch willing to receive the ball, everyone else either shied away from it or resorted to plan B, smash it up to O'Shea's head.

    Sunderland

He strolled the game, but in a good way if that make sense? Never looked rushed, always dropped off into space and never went wandering aimlessly. At no point did he seem flustered, just did his job with minimal fuss and a lot of quality. Complete opposite of our headless, shambles of a midfield.

    Sunderland

Thought Ki was the best player on the pitch, completely dictated the game and was always available for a pass.
  17. I'd have to watch the game to make a judgement. Pardew has gone for a new formation and that might have everyone confused. Debuchy was arguably better going forward, but defensively Borini has having his pants down. Skinned him time and time again. Both fullbacks were a shambles.
  18. As awful as santon has been I think Debuchy has been as bad. Johnson and borini have taken the piss out of them both.
  19. GW24 Newcastle 1-1 Sunderland West Ham 1-1 Swansea Cardiff 0-0 Norwich Everton 2-1 Aston Villa Fulham 1-2 Southampton Hull 0-2 Tottenham Stoke 0-2 Man Utd West Brom 1-4 Liverpool Arsenal 3-0 Crystal Palace Man City 3-1 Chelsea
  20. We got De Jong, and Dan Gosling back what more do you want?
  21. Me Of course how daft of me to suggest a good available young player when we have dan gosling returning soon
  22. If holtby is available from spurs, why are we not in for him? Wages? Fee?
  23. GW 23: Man Utd 2-0 Cardiff Norwich 1-1 Newcastle Southampton 1-3 Arsenal Swansea 2-1 Fulham Crystal Palace 1-0 Hull Liverpool 2-1 Everton Aston Villa 1-1 West Brom Chelsea 2-0 West Ham Sunderland 0-0 Stoke Tottenham 1-2 Man City
