  2. Seen one on twitter that says 'pardew is a muppet!'
  3. Stoke and throw-ins are synonymous. They just got it over the line more than us.
  4. We gotta take the positives, I'm coming home with a Wedgwood vase!
  5. We haven't been in the Barclays, littlewoods, worthington, carling, milk Premiership as long as stoke. So they used that experience to get the better than asss. Science Ben Arfa They have a rich heritage in producing pottery, week in week out. We can't compete with that.

Absolutely no question. Saw some sh*te in the mid to late '80s but I'd swap anything I saw then for either of the two mackem games or the Liverpool game last season. That was particularly bad because of the defeat to the unwashed the week before-for some unknown reason I expected some sort of reaction. (*slaps own head; stupid boy ). But the worst of the lot was this season's 0-3. Will never forgive him for that. I thought last seasons was worse. We'd just put in a good performance against Benfica and the mackems were lead by a fruitloop. In the main we were having a terrible season but that result seemed to come from nowhere. This season I didn't expect such a thrashing but I wasn't surprised by it. In terms of performance/application Liverpool was the worst game I've seen but that first 0-3 was the worst overall. Mind, I wasn't even born in the 80's so I guess I haven't got a lot to compare it with. We would have won last season if Cissé's goal wouldn't have been wrongly disallowed IMO. This year was far worse. You're probably right, but I think all things considered that game was worse. I just wasn't surprised at all about this seasons game. I came out of St James' this season feeling nothing, just a sign of things to come under Pardew and minus Cabaye.

  8. We've scored 2 home league goals since boxing day. 8 games, 2 injury time goals.
  9. Thinking of going to the game on good Friday. Never been to the Int Stadium before.

  13. He did it got blocked early doors. Fwiw it was probly going in as well. Was that in the first 2/3 minutes? Sadly that was probably our best spell of the game! Surely you would agree though that one shot for a striker is a miserable stat?
  14. Think Gouffrans had some excellent games in midfield. Although I wouldn't play him there personally. Seems to me that he's A: Been Pardew'd into becoming a defensive wide-man when he should be a wide-forward or striker and B: he's suffering from extreme burnout (as as Sissoko).
  15. Did he even have a shot at goal tonight? His link up play can be good and he's ok at holding the ball up but other than that I really fail to see what he brings. He offers next to nothing in terms of an actual goal threat or provider. I could forgive a second striker who doesn't score but lays on plenty of chances for the main striker but when you're not doing that he's just a waste of a shirt, especially when we have creative outlets like Hatem and Marveaux rotting on the bench.
  16. Can't stand Billy Davies, just as egotistic as Pardew but with even less to show for it.

  21. Should he get sacked for this? No. Should he get sacked for being a limited, negative, spineless tactician? Yes
