    Conor Newton

From what I saw on Saturday I think he's worth persevering with. Was probably the only player to come out of that game with any credit for me.
  2. Expected nothing. Got nothing. Spent £80. Now for a long journey home, Newcastle United the club that keeps on giving.
  3. ---------------------------------------------- Elliot ------------------------------------------- Debuchy/Tavernier ------------ Coloccini -------------- Williamson --------- Ferguson --------------------------------- Anita -------------- Bigi ------------------------------- ------- Sameobi ---------------------- Marveaux -------------------------- Obertan -- ------------------------------------------ Cisse --------------------------------------
  4. Met him on the bus to the Stoke game, a strange but funny character. We stopped off at a service station and he just decided to sit next to me for some reason, he said something but me not being a Geordie i genuinely hadn't a clue what he said!!
  5. Very much this. Despite us having better players it suprised me how much wigan tried to play it on the floor even with ten. Anita had a very good game for me and looks better with every game.
  6. Krul Tav Colo Saylor Fergie Jonas Bigi Anita Marveaux Cisse Shola
  7. Don't think anyone has said that that is the reason we are shite, it's blatently obvious that we have next to no movement when we go forward besides Barfa and so the reason we are shite is that we quickly run out of ideas or try and lump it to Shola.
  8. Willo is not good enough and never has been. He isn't even good enough to be 5th choice at this level. He is a Championship CB. Just. Couldn't agree more but surely you agree that it's hardly his fault that he is our 3rd choice when he should be about 6th!
  9. Such a limited player it's painful, he should be nowhere near our side but i'm not going to critisize him week in week out because it's our reluctance to spend money that's the problem not Williamson. I just think we need to accept him for what he is, a poor player who works hard but ultimately is not a Premier League defender.
  10. It will just be her trying to suck his dick whilst he stands off.
  11. I agree that he's an egotistical cunt with an unnerving sense of self importance, but i don't think you can say he isn't good at what he does with limited teams like Bolton and Blackburn. His biggest test will be moving West Ham forward next season as i don't think their fans will accept another year of dour football with the aim of just staying up.
  12. I can agree to an extent, we would probably have become a top 8 side again but it would have been vile to watch and difficult to change the style once he had left as was the case with Bolton and Blackburn. Fat Sam is not a very good manager but merely a practical one who will more often than not, suit the job he is trusted with (keeping Bolton/Blackburn up, getting WHU up and keeping them up) he however is not then capable of moving a side to the next level ala Moyes who has consistantly changed the way Everton play whilst sticking to his core principles depending on who he has at his disposal. Fat Sam is just the safe but limited option for owners who want to stay in the Premier League and that is why he would never have fully succeeded with us, as we demand more and correctly so due to our resources and fan base.
  13. Didn't think we played that badly, Colo had a shocker mind even before the red card. Cisse is coming in for some unfair stick imo he was just bombarded with long balls quite a few of which he managed to bring down or head to a team-mate. Santon was once again solid but MOTM was Saylor by a country mile he did everything right today so long may that continue. Anita was decent and just needs a run at CM for him to firmly get to grasp with the pace. All things considered a decent point for me.
  14. Thought pardew was spot on throughout, we came out of the blocks quickly, scored and were well on top. The sending off caused a reshuffle to which pardew again got the tactics right by putting perch into midfield. They created very little and didn't look like scoring and it was proved by their equaliser being a flukey deflection. For me everyone gave their all but Colo, santon and yohan stood out for me.
  15. I think his ability is quite underrated to be honest, obviously he wasn't as technically gifted as Scholes Et al, but it wasn't as if he was a limited player. I thought that he was good technically but what made him top class was obviously his mentality and attitude towards winning. Yes he was a cunt of the highest order but he was certainly a player i admired despite being shit scared of Shearer.

  23. Tried to look for Speedo's goal v Bradford and found a decent video of some of his Newcastle goals, besides that Bradford rocket, his goals against Birmingham and Portsmouth were corkers aswell. Type into youtube; 加利·史必為紐卡素建功片段( Gary Speed Newcastle United goals ).
