  1. Definitely. Ashley's nufc and Rafa would snap there hands off For f*** sake. What? They would Ashley yes, Benitez no. Benitez yes. As proven yesterday and numerous times. That's not an assumption when the evidence backs it up. Yesterday was a big f you to the supporters who turned up but it's just quietly accepted we don't do cups now. Imagine this joke of a setup going on in the 90s man. Wouldn't have happened Benitez would love to win the FA Cup with Newcastle, but he's going to do what he feels is right and focus on staying in the league. A big f*** you to supporters. Actively losing an FA cup game that 35,000 paying supporters sorry sheep turned up to and many thousands more were hoping for a cup run and a tiny shred of light following this s*** club is a big f you. Yes Actively losing an FA cup game. They play shit and got knocked out. That's all there is to it. Playing Woodman in goal and Joselu up front is a big indication that we weren't arsed about winning it.
  2. Can anyone explain why they are playing a weak team when they have nothing really to play for in the league!? Mental. What an age for football we live in now when a few places higher and a few quid more in pl prize money is more important than winning something Nothing to play for apart from staying in the Premier league and £100m tv money? Can't imagine. So there's a lot riding on staying in the PL for Ashley then. Club don't see any of that anyway so I'm not sure why any supporter would give a shit.
  3. Whether the club generates £200m a year or £400m a year, for us as fans It's a largely irrelevant figure when the person who owns the club believes that money belongs to him (which I suppose it does although football isn't like any other business) and he will use it to invest in other business interests on the High Street. He stays as long as we are profitable to him which makes it imperative that we get relegated and stay relegated for a number of years. This is going on for a long time yet.
  4. I honestly don't know what he's still doing here. Ashley and Charnley are trolling him as much as they're trolling the fans. He's worth so much more than this.
  5. Email the ticket office. Tell them you wish to cancel your season ticket and that you will be cancelling the direct debit with your bank. They'll reply to confirm they've received your cancellation and it's as simple as that.
  6. Hopefully that's sooner rather than later but knowing our luck he'll live till he's 90.
  7. He cost £1.5m from the Spanish 2nd Division.
  8. As if Warnock is deciding that man. Cardiff would have hired a company to provide a plane for him to sort his stuff out. I never said he booked the flight.. but it says in the message he starts training tomorrow afternoon and they have gave him a shit plane to try and make it back on time. I'm pretty certain the plane would have been airworthy when it took off. Just a tragic accident.
  9. You can't get a profit on Joselu Manquillo or Murphy I'm afraid Yes but you can from Dubravka, Ki, Schaar, Fernandez and Lejeune. 5 good PL players who cost a combined total of under £20m. That doesn't even buy the big clubs a squad player these days. When you are shopping In the bargain basement it's inevitable that you'll end up with duds but what Rafa has brought in with the peanuts he's had to spend has been nothing short of miraculous. Imagine what he could do with an actual transfer budget.
  10. And I still want to bring my dog around every morning for a shite on the lawn.
  11. Need to up our game here lads. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-glasgow-west-46958863?ns_source=twitter&ns_campaign=bbc_scotland_news&ns_linkname=scotland&ns_mchannel=social
  12. It's what most people have suspected all along. Any sale comes with a mountain of clauses no potential buyer would ever go near. In other words NUFC is for sale, but it's not really for sale.
  13. Even if my he survived the crash I doubt the survival time in the Channel in January is more than about 5 minutes. Very grim.
  14. Seems to buy another shop every transfer window. Would be nice if he could sign a player or two but I suppose thats a bit far fetched.

    Lee Charnley

He probably can't believe his luck. I'd suggest both the MDs at Aberdeen and Gillingham are, at least, competent at their roles.
  16. Big club, big fanbase, moving into a new stadium next season. He's clearly looking more long term because despite their relative league positions I'd still back York to be a football league club before Gateshead are. Far more potential there.
  17. Wow! On another note do they still have to bother with the 2nd leg or can both clubs come to a mutual agreement where they don't have to play it? Unfair on Burton as the aggregate score could easily end up 17-0 and there's absolutely no point in that.
  18. Not going on the metro we're going through this afternoon on the Northern Rail train and meeting up with a couple of lads from down that way but are NUFC fans. Having to sit in their end but not too bothered about that. Just looking forward to a day on the drink and watching some football. The piss taking is a bonus.
  19. How many other professional club owners/chairmen head to Twitter to tell everyone what's happening at the club? He's basically getting away with it now because they're a non entity 3rd Division club. If they were to ever move up the football league pyramid it's not something he could continue to do as he'd have no credibility.
  20. Merely observing and commenting that's all. Teeeeeeeny bit of irony here, non? Not at all. It's the same sour faced people moaning about trivial little things like banners or songs not being to their liking. Meanwhile the club drifts further into oblivion with every passing week.
  21. What a bunch of miserable bastards on here. Literally not happy unless their whinging their tits off about something. Some writing on a banner is the least of our worries at the moment. Personally I thought it was canny even if Sky Sports did their best not to show it.
  22. Tickets selling well apparently. Milburn, East Stand and most of the Gallowgate already sold out. If people won't boycott a cup game there's no point in suggesting this course of action for a league game.
  23. I don't see how they can accidently destroy them and then throw them into skips. Surely that can't be an accident. What it does show is how little the club actually values it's supporters, if we didn't already know this.
  24. Very sad to see this. The club destroying £4500 worth of flags which had been bought by fundraising efforts from the supporters is another low.
