Shame the pundits/interviewers don't do their homework because they could literally tie him in knots with all the lies he spouts. He's actually a compulsive liar.

I'd take Pardew back in a heartbeat if it meant getting rid of this fat mess. That's how much I want Bruce gone. I wasn't keen on Pardew but this bloke is on a completely different level. No. I’d never take Pardew back. They’re both horrible. Can’t separate them. I could never see Bruce taking us to 5th place or Benfica for a 1/4 Final Europa League tie. I didn't like Pardew but I detest Bruce. Pardew never took us down, Bruce will if he gets to see the season out

Rumours going around that Matthias Sammer was coming in and instead Greame Jones rocks up Basically just sums up NUFC these last 13 years.

In other words he's a yes man grateful to be in a job, deep down he knows he shouldn't be in, same as Pardew, Carver, and McClaren.

I've noticed this from some matchday going fans that would go to every home game. Can't be arsed to go back once they are allowed to. My dad's been going since the early 60s. I'm 43 and in all the years I've been alive I can only every remember him missing a handful of home games in that time. Was talking to him the other week about the football and he was saying he's not arsed about going back now he hasn't been for best part of a year. Loads that went through habit or to get out the house will chuck it, or at least won't attend regularly I reckon. They'll get a shock when they open the turnstiles back up.

I had a bust up with the bloke behind me at Derby over Robert. He spent the whole game absolutely slating him which ended up with me constantly turning round to tell him to shut the fuck up. In the 2nd half Robert then proceeded to smash in an unbelievable free kick and the cheeky cunt had the audacity to grab hold of me to celebrate.
-
Sort of Lauren Robert related because it's mainly about his sending off but just listen to Sir Bobby man!
-
Aye he could strike a ball but for sheer power I'd still say Robert. Robert certainly if you were combining power/accuracy. For sheer power, and accuracy for that matter I don't think there are many strikes out there that could top Martins against Spurs. Absolute rocket. Robert v Liverpool at Anfield was hit much harder than that. Just watched them both again on YouTube.

Would have been around then. Remember it was in December because we had our works Xmas do at SJP that night and I just stood at the window of the room we were in just remembering what I'd witnessed down below a few hours earlier. Robert definitely makes it into my top 3 favourite NUFC players of all time. Loved watching him play and I don't think I've ever seen a NUFC player able to strike a ball as hard as he could.
-
If he had even the most basic of attributes, ie work rate there might be something to work with, although not at Premier League level but there's just nothing there at all. From what I have seen of him, which admittedly will be less than other people on here, he doesn't even seem to move around much. Doubt he ever leaves the pitch with a sweat on. A captain such as Shearer would have had him pinned against the dressing room wall a long time ago.

Don’t be a little forum busy body pulling folk up , knacker. It's just a football forum, stop taking things so seriously ya daft little sad sack
-
Probably something to do with the fact it took him until the 39th minute to get his first touch of the ball (he lost it straight away). He doesn't even try to get involved. Playing him out wide is perfect for him because he can just stand on the touchline and keep out of the way which is what he enjoys doing most. Heads would be rolling at a properly run football club for sanctioning that signing. It didn't take him until the 39th minute to get his first touch Fuck me you love tripping folk up, give over man . Sad sack What? You can't say he didn't have a touch of the ball until the 39th minute when it's absolute nonsense There's a lot to criticise about Joelinton without believing some nonsense someone probably made up on Twitter He's right though you do come across as a right pedantic sad sack like. No offence.

Think we averaged something like 1.3 PPG when Benitez came in. Probably would have had us 10th/11th over the course of a season and that was coming in and taking on a totally unmotivated and uninterested squad where all the best players already had their eyes on their next move. If we'd brought him in 2 games earlier we would have stayed up.

People on twitter saying Joelinton didn't get his 1st touch of the ball until the 40th minute. Surely not true?? -

Why they blabbing on about Liverpool v Man Utd from yesterday? It was absolutely shite and I doubt anyone wants to relive a second of it. -

I'll be switching over to something else at 8pm. I'm being serious as well. I don't watch us these days. Waste of time. -

Carragher won that like. Neville looked rattled at the end and could only say it's been shit for 12 years. Carra explained that under Benitez at least it gives the fans some hope, a bit like Everton with Ancelotti.
