In real life Wraith is nowt like how he comes across on the internet. Met him a couple of years ago in the Walls End pub and had a canny crack on with him for a good 15 minutes or so about NUFC and a more sound bloke you couldn't wish to meet which really surprised me because I always thought of him as a right tit. Still, he wanted shot for that mock funeral he did like!

There's no money to be made out of owning Sunderland though. Niall Quinn and his consortium lost £millions trying to keep them ticking over and Bob Murray had to sell the club to them in the first place because he could no longer afford to keep them going. Now you have Ellis Short there who has to bail them out to the tune of 10s of £millions every year just to keep them in business.

Atmosphere this season is as good as I can remember since the 92/93 season. Even our first season in the PL in 93/94 wasn't as good as it is now. Massive credit to Gallowgate flags and Wor Hyem because they've totally transformed the Gallowgate which in turn seems to have given the whole ground a new lease of life. Quite a few times on Sunday all 4 stands were up singing and even under Keegan (1st time) that didn't happen all that often. Good to hear both managers mention the atmosphere as well.

Yesterday's match was sold out weeks ago. It didn't even reach general sale. Looked packed from where I sit in the Gallowgate apart from up in Level 7 where there are always some empty seats dotted about for some reason.

Yep that magnificent 52,000 seat stadium that we sit in every other week is largely down to him. At the time of it's expansion it was the 2nd biggest in the country only behind Old Trafford. One thing you couldn't knock him for was his ambition.

Thought things started going a bit tits up when SJH took a back seat and Freddie Shepherd became the main man but one thing he was was a supporter who always had the best interests of the club at heart. He also employed a lot of people in the North East as well. RIP

John Moss as well! As a referee myself I can tell you ability alone is not enough. Its about who you know and who can get you places too. Cronyism definitely comes into play hence why we've those two s*** c***s still as prem refs. It's also how Moss got the FA cup final before far more competent refs such as Oliver and Clattenberg got their chance. Aye Moss is another one. There's 4 or 5 of them who look totally out of their depth every time they step out onto a football pitch and make huge mistake after huge mistake. It does beg the question how they got to where they are.

How Madeley is still on the list of Premier League referees is quite incredible. He's totally incompetent and unfit for purpose.

I'd definitely start all 3 on Sunday.
