Us, Norwich and Villa going down imo. These players and the clown leading them haven't got the gumption for a relegation scrap.
-
Him and Colocinni quite possibly gave the worst centre back pairing performance in Premier League history right there.
-
Ashley has 2 choices. Stick with him, we're relegated and he loses a fortune or sack him immediately and give ourselves half a chance. It's really as simple as that.
-
It really is the stock answer to someone who goes against their collective opinion, along with 'f*** off' F*** off Mag surely?

Thousands? No, a few hundred. The vast majority of Sunderland fans have never sung that song. One horse puncher amongst a hell of a lot of your fans running amok after a derby defeat, and there were quite a few hundred involved in smashing the town up a few years earlier. That isn't even close to being true. There is a very vociferous minority on there, as there is in many walks of life, which make a disproportionate amount of 'noise'. If you look at that forum, especially away from the Pure Football pages, it's actually a very good forum with some excellent intelligent posters. Not all Sunderland fans are supporters of sex offenders, just as not all Newcastle fans are horse punchers or telephone box destroyers. owever, the vast majority of Newcastle fans were not involved in the trouble. I'll stick with the facts and judge most people by their actions and not the actions of a few hundred idiots. Most people on RTG stereotype all Newcastle fans as horse punchers but they'll be up in arms when they all get tarred as paedos at every away ground in the country as Boro fans had to put up with for years. That site is just a bizarre collection of social misfits, hypocrites, weirdos and now paedo sympathisers. I wouldn't want it closed down or people even banned because as long as it exists there's a place for them to go and they don't spoil the rest of the Internet.

The amount of Sunderland fans who are condoning it and blaming the poor bairn is pretty worrying in all honesty.
-
Just noticed the beasts v Man Utd is the early kick off. Got a sneaky feeling after all the carry on they'll either get a win or a draw. Siege mentality and all that.
-
Reading RTG is a real eye opener. Patting themselves on the back saying at least the fans have nowt to be ashamed off whilst completely ignoring the fact they've elevated him to hero worship status and sang "he shags who he wants" to him at every match for the past 11 months. They really are an incredible breed mind.

More chance of a fair trial. Chances are at Newcastle Crown court the majority of the jury would have been Newcastle fans.

Chelsea vs Newcastle United - 13/2/16 @ 5:30pm (Live on Sky Sports)

Going with the majority on this. Routine 2-0 loss before the players go on their hard earned annual mid season break in the sun. -
He would have known he was always going to be found out but clearly he couldn't contain his sick urges. This sort of thing is extremely high profile ever since Jimmy Savile and Rolf Harris, amongst others were outed. In fact there's probably never been a worse time to be a paedophile but that's his hard luck.
-
I think it was pretty obvious at the time what he was doing by the way he ran the full length of the pitch to the Newcastle supporters doing it. Bottom line is that he's a self confessed nonce, SAFC supporters hero worshipped a self confessed nonce and SAFC harboured a self confessed nonce for their own gains. He would have been sacked instantly if he'd been a youth player and no use in their fight to avoid relegation.Just got to hope he gets jail time and that "nice" things happen to him whilst he's inside. As a side note surely that's his career over now. He'll have to sign the sex offenders register so does anyone more clued up than me know if that would prevent him from performing in a football stadium where children are present.
-
They gambled on him being innocent last year in order to survive, there is no doubt in my mind that they will do it again if he's available to play. This. They'll continue to play him until he gets sent down. He's one of their best players and that club have already shown they have no morals when it comes to fighting off relegation.
-
There's a difference between unsuspending someone, and then actually playing them though. By playing him they put the threat of relegation ahead of the feelings of the victim and her family. Make no mistake if he'd been a youth player his contact would have been terminated immediately. They will forever be known as the club who harboured a paedophile for their own gains, with a fanbase, who previously had been ambivalent towards him, begin to hero worship him when the news first broke. One thing's for sure they'll never, ever be able to claim the moral high ground or talk about "class" to us again.
-
They've handled the whole thing terribly. Wouldn't surprise me if they went and named the family enclosure after him now.
-
I'd imagine they'll be extremely embarrassed now. They generalised every Newcastle supporter as a horse puncher because 1 knacker punched a horse. 1000's of them continue to chant Johnsons name at matches and boast about his crime so by their own admission every Sunderland fan is a paedophile.
-
The sad thing is that the club may have been hoping this was 'settled out of court' to allow him to continue playing I've no doubt that would be the case. They, the accused, and their supporters have shown absolutely zero compassion to the victim in all this (the shags who he wants song was still being sung at Anfield by them on Saturday). That football club, from top to bottom are totally and utterly morally bankrupt now.
-
After these latest developments I don't know who comes out of it worse. The football club for continuing to play him even though it was obvious it was one of those no smoke without fire cases or the supporters of the football club, many who would have bairns themselves, cheering him like a hero and serenading him with a "shags who he wants" song. As for Johnson, you've got to hope justice is served swiftly and without mercy and he gets everything that's coming his way. If there's any justice that club is going down and won't darken the top flight of English football for many years to come.

Think he mentioned hoying rotten fruit and veg at him to wind him up or something. Could be comedy gold I suppose.

Played well at Old Trafford back in August tbf.
-
They've got to show each team a minimum number of times I think. Doing this effectively kills 2 birds with one stone. The first game was on too, WBA were even more abject and defensive than they were yesterday. 4 birds with 2 stones then

Shame his usual slump didn't come about a few weeks earlier because they'd be right in the clarts. He'll be in and around the relegation zone next season though which will be pleasing to watch. Just hope we're still in this league so we can enjoy it more.
