  1. I'd put him in the dugout on Sunday instead of Carver. Seriously.
  2. Aye but we can start warming him up from the 65th.
  3. I've done something similar. Stuck a tenner on us to go down last month @ 22/1 and I've got £15 on Hull to beat Man Utd which returns £82.50 I think. If we go down that means Hull will have won so I'll get over £300 back, if we both win I get £82.50 or if we both lose/draw I get nowt but we haven't been relegated. Got most bases covered. Also won £210 on the mackems staying up when I stuck £80 on them at 13/8 not to be relegated when they were in the bottom 3 last month and had a tenner on them @ 19/4 to draw with Arsenal so at least I'm profiteering from this car crash last few weeks.
  4. That's Carvers excuse sorted then. "Their week off meant they were fresher than us and they played with more energy. My lads were tired after staying up till 3am watching the wrestling".
  5. Awesome. The team in the zone, playing Man U isn't as relegatable as us.
  6. Fair play to them. We'd be 2 or 3 down by now. Wouldn't be surprised in the slightest if they do to Arsenal what they did to Everton.
  7. Still can't get over our biggest game of the season not even involving us. Just ridiculous.
  8. I think that's wishful thinking tbqh. Ashley doesn't give a f*** about even his most senior personnel in his main business. These knobs leaving NUFC are not even collateral damage. With any luck he'll f*** Liar off too and bring in a whole new regime with a different mandate. Highly doubtful though. If it's his regime it'll just be more of the same though.
  9. Good to see NUFC.com putting the latest Ashleyout article on a prominent place on their site.
  10. That's the team I would put out. No Raylor or Williamson in there though so there's no chance of it happening.
  11. And that you won't find a single person confident of getting that win. Staggering that in such an important game for the club there is still so much apathy from the fans, myself included. Still literally 1000's of unsold tickets for it and it seems nobody would be too fussed if we go down or not. Totally bizarre when you think how the fans of Sunderland and Hull will be feeling in comparison. Personally I'd rather it was Hull that go down. As much as I say I'm not all that bothered, and I'm not, I'd still rather we were a PL club next season. What I don't want is the mackems to go down, again something I thought I'd never hear myself say. It would let everyone at NUFC of the hook as the mongs would lap it up and this catastrophe of a season would be forgotten by many because it would end on a high note. Like I said a few posts up. The result on Sunday should be irrelevant and abuse to all involved should be dished out big style on the final whistle regardless.
  12. Win, lose or draw the final whistle should be met with vicious abuse towards Ashley, Charnley, Carver, the coaching staff, and that team of cowards. Of course it won't be but it should.
  13. Yey! We survived another season so we get a chance to survive another season again next year. Hurray!! Woop woop. Against the other option of "yay, we've been relegation so we get the chance to possibly come back up and then have the chance to survive again"? What do people want? Us to be a Championship club forever? With the squad we have, we're not going to be fighting for anything near the top 8 spots. I think people need to get realistic and realise this - it is going to take major improvements for this to happen. People have short memories, we were a Championship club not long ago - our club has been murdered under Ashley for years. We're not going to be magically fixed and healed the day he leaves. On this day, we are fighting relegation - forgive me if I am happy that we do. Stay up and absolutely nothing changes - guaranteed. Manager, owner, coaches, atmosphere, players, ambition - nothing will change. More of the same in perpetuity. Go down and something positive could unfold. Wouldn't mind rolling the dice and finding out tbh. Taking a few steps back to clean the dogshit off our shoes wouldn't be the worst thing in the world imo. The club will be just fine in the long term, just needs a few uncomfortable years to get rid of it's parasite first. I agree, nothing will change if we stay up. That's from the top, everything you listed is down to the tosser in charge of our club. But going down, is more likely to have a negative effect than positive. When we went down last time, did anything change? Did anything change when we came back up? No, because the same fat tosser is in charge. Would Ashley sell if we went down? Definitely not, he'd make a bigger loss and he's a business man that only cares about his pocket. He wants £x amount for us and will not sell until he gets offered it. There is no way anybody would pay that for a Championship team. Even if we go down, we protest, we burn down Ashley's home - we can make him want to sell, but we cant make somebody buy us. We've in effect been for sale for the past 3/4/5 years, if Ashley was given an acceptable offer for us at any point he'd have snatched their hand off. But he hasn't. The only possible positive I can see from going down, is the cheaper games and fact we might win a few. Completely understand where you are coming from, but I guess if we all had the same opinion it'd be boring. Agree with most of that apart from us being up for sale for the past 3/4/5 years. In effect the club isn't for sale unless somebody is stupid enough to pay way over its market value due to the greediness of Ashley and the way he has the debt constructed. In simple terms it's like me putting my house on the market for £500k, aye it's for sale but I'm very unlikely to find a buyer.
  14. They have a higher percentage of knobheads than most. That's the point.
  15. When looking at people to blame for this monumental fuck up of a season he's down at the bottom of the list.
  16. They've always had a vile following have Everton. Massive chips on their shoulders about being in Liverpools shadow.
  17. Hope the fat cunts heart packs in on the final whistle next Sunday.
  18. 0-1 and a standing ovation by the 25,000 muppets still in their seats at the final whistle.
  19. I was just about to post this. Our game is irrelivant. It's all about what happens in Hull.
  20. Saw Ryan Taylor in Adventurelands in Heaton the other week. Didn't acknowledge him.
  21. I voted no but the more I think about it I'm starting to be swayed more to hoping we go down. I haven't renewed my season ticket so regardless of the league we're in I won't be watching anyway so it's really a choice of another season of trying to finish 17th in the PL and Ashley raking in more £millions or the Championship where I haven't got a clue how we'd get on but I do know Ashley wouldn't be making any money out of the club. I think I'd also take a degree of satisfaction watching the mugs that point blank refuse to stop going sitting through Rotherham at home on a Wednesday night in January.
  22. One thing that's blindingly obvious is that these protests and general fan unrest have got the club well and truly rattled and they literally haven't got a clue what to do.
