  1. More than shades. Hull play Man Utd and Chelsea play the mackems on the final day, just like back in 2009. We play West Ham instead of Villa but the strip colour is the same.

Nothing more than a cheap PR stunt to get fans back on side with him.
  4. Received an email from NUFC this morning regarding my season ticket. Asked me to ring them on an 0844 number or for me to give them a contact number and they'd ring me. I emailed them back and within 2 minutes they were on the phone to tell me my season ticket had been handed in and is available to collect from the box office. I just need to bring ID. The fact it was picked up by a steward on the floor of the dugout after bouncing off Carvers arm should suggest that I'm not interested in having it back.
  5. Possibly the most mental league table ever; http://m.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/32482350
  6. He's rattled big style. Hopefully the pressure gets cranked up further now.
  7. Hope Ashley's watching. This is what footballs meant to be about. Not balance sheets and John Carvers.
  8. Sure Oldhams ground only held around 13,500 when they were in the Premier League.

I think me chucking my season ticket at him yesterday has tipped him over the edge. He'll be gone soon enough. No need to thank me.

Seems an odd thing to say about a 50 year old bloke but if we aren't going to peddle him an experienced head needs to be brought in alongside him to get us the 3 points that would almost certainly guarantee our safety. Obviously in an ideal world his P45 would be waiting for him tomorrow but that isn't very likely.
  11. that's class, fair play. Did the stewards not try to grip you? No, nothing. 1 male and 1 female steward were sat next to the dugout. They could see what was going to happen so they both stood up but just watched as I did it. It hit Carver on the arm and he just sat there and looked at me. I told him he could f*cking shove it and just walked out. Half expected someone to try and grab hold of me but they didn't. 9/10. I deducted a mark because you failed to attach your ticket to a brick. Bit harsh that like! I walked from the Strawberry Corner all the way round to the dugout and even had to go out into the concourse and back in again because the stewards wouldn't let me into the paddock from the Gallowgate.

  13. Well that's mine gone. Didn't renew for next season anyway but if anyone sat in A Paddock yesterday saw someone walk down to the dugout about 5 minutes after they scored their 3rd goal and chuck their season ticket at Carver well that was me. Fair play the the 2 stewards who just sat there and done nowt but not to the wifey in the front row of the upper section of the paddock who tried to give me a bit of stick for doing it. Knowing my luck they'll post it back out to me.
  14. Never had a problem with Gullit. Wasn't up to it in the end and walked away without asking for a penny. Carver take note.
  15. Haven't decided what I'm doing yet. I'll be in town anyway and I'll have my season ticket in my wallet so I'll just decide nearer the time. Might just go for the 1st half, do the 34th minute protest and come away at half time.
  16. Stings been boycotting for 63 years. He's never even been interested in football.

If there's any justice these will go down. What a disgusting football club they are.

Worst record for a manager in charge of NUFC for more than 10 games. Ever. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Newcastle_United_F.C._managers By the end of the season his win ratio will be less than 10% which will not only make him officially the worst manager in the entire 123 year history of the club but will also give him an unwanted record that will never likely be broken so basically he's guaranteed himself a place in the clubs record books for ever.
  19. Why? He's completely useless. Would you continue with Perez upfront on his own? I wouldn't but I'd rather start with Armstrong or Ferreyra ahead of Rivière as it's physically impossible for them to be any worse.
  20. Tbf nobody could go Hull and light the place up. Even Carver managed to go there and win. Ben Arfa probably scored 2 of the best 10 goals I've seen at SJP in my 30+ years of attending. He would be superb in a good side with the talent he had. Of course some of our fans would rather watch Gouffran and Sammy because apparently "at least they put in a shift".
  21. Still really pisses me off that this spineless bunch of players were one of the reasons he left. Apparently he was unpopular in the dressing room because he wasn't a team player they moaned and he didn't track back yet the likes of Gouffran does this week in week out yet appears to be immune from any criticism from those inside the club. NUFC really is rotten to the core from Ashley, through to the coaches and the players. The tea lady must be the only decent person in there.
  22. Imagine if all 35k season ticket holders did this. About £25,000,000 worth of annual revenue up in smoke just like that. Fans don't realise how much power they have, that's the problem.
  23. Yeah they'll go the way of Portsmouth and Leeds soon enough, they can't have long left. And Blackpool. Don't forget Blackpool.
