Haven't decided what I'm doing yet. I'll be in town anyway and I'll have my season ticket in my wallet so I'll just decide nearer the time. Might just go for the 1st half, do the 34th minute protest and come away at half time.

Stings been boycotting for 63 years. He's never even been interested in football.
-
If there's any justice these will go down. What a disgusting football club they are.

Worst record for a manager in charge of NUFC for more than 10 games. Ever. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Newcastle_United_F.C._managers By the end of the season his win ratio will be less than 10% which will not only make him officially the worst manager in the entire 123 year history of the club but will also give him an unwanted record that will never likely be broken so basically he's guaranteed himself a place in the clubs record books for ever.
-
Why? He's completely useless. Would you continue with Perez upfront on his own? I wouldn't but I'd rather start with Armstrong or Ferreyra ahead of Rivière as it's physically impossible for them to be any worse.

Tbf nobody could go Hull and light the place up. Even Carver managed to go there and win. Ben Arfa probably scored 2 of the best 10 goals I've seen at SJP in my 30+ years of attending. He would be superb in a good side with the talent he had. Of course some of our fans would rather watch Gouffran and Sammy because apparently "at least they put in a shift".
-
Still really pisses me off that this spineless bunch of players were one of the reasons he left. Apparently he was unpopular in the dressing room because he wasn't a team player they moaned and he didn't track back yet the likes of Gouffran does this week in week out yet appears to be immune from any criticism from those inside the club. NUFC really is rotten to the core from Ashley, through to the coaches and the players. The tea lady must be the only decent person in there.

Imagine if all 35k season ticket holders did this. About £25,000,000 worth of annual revenue up in smoke just like that. Fans don't realise how much power they have, that's the problem.
-
Yeah they'll go the way of Portsmouth and Leeds soon enough, they can't have long left. And Blackpool. Don't forget Blackpool.
-
They won't go down. They were in a far worse position last season and stopped up. They just seem to carry a lot of luck when it really matters and the annual 6 points off us helps as well.

Official: Yoan Gouffran signs new contract with Goztepe

Hope you enjoyed your few hours away from your lass anyway. Looked like you were all having a ball inside that stadium. -
But a decent manager could still get the team organised and get them to put some effort in to at least pick up the odd point, They could. Carver's the lowest of the low but I do think a few on here are in a little bit of denial about just how f***ing gutless/useless our players are. This. Fair enough Pardew was an arrogant t*** and presided over many unwanted records in his tenure here and Carver is simply completely out of his depth but the one common denominator during the 6 match losing streak last season and again this season is the players with one or two exceptions. They've just downed tools again exactly like last year which is one of the reasons I can't understand people saying you've still got to turn up to support the players. They couldn't give a toss about me or the club and I couldn't give a toss about them, Janmaat aside.
-
They just downgraded my supporter profile to general sale and my loyalty points stayed on even though technically they were no use to me. When I got my season ticket back I was able to use them again. Thing is loyalty points are only worth something if you've got a screw loose and enjoy going to Sunderland away.
-
They're held on file. I had 108 points and didn't renew for a season and when I got my season ticket back they were still on. Packed it in again for next season so half expecting them to take the huff and take them off me this time but tbh I couldn't care less.
-
Nothing important. Just Steve Howey thinks Carver will get the job because a real manager will demand money from Ashley whereas Carver won't. Jesus man, Howey. I cant work out if Howey is tryiong to help Carver or now  Howey's a Mackem. Of course he wants Carver to get the job.

Interesting article about our finances if you're into that sort of thing; http://swissramble.blogspot.ch/2015/04/newcastle-united-in-rut.html?m=1

I would sat moderate success and hopefully something there to build on.
-
They're busy trying to raise £1000 to fly another plane over for the Swansea match saying "sorry for the timing".
-
So what happens now then? Are we going to the Swansea match on Saturday or staying away again? Personally I just watched yesterday's debacle in my local and enjoyed it far more than I would have had I been there so I'm tempted to do the same on Saturday.
-
do the club not give the attendance as the number of season ticket holders plus casual cash/card buying fans as the place could be half empty but still post 48,000 including spuds fans Aye every club has to do that now as it's an FA directive.
-
“But I don’t listen to it. If someone comes up to me face-to-face and has a go, I can accept it because it is their opinion. I find it tough, but I accept it. Didn't he offer the fans out face to face at the training ground and then bottled facing up to the one fan who turned up to have a go?

That chant just adds fuel to the theory that we want everything 'Geordie' at the club from the media. Really pisses me off. I think the fact we all hate Carver ends that myth.
