  1. Looks like around 40k sold so far plus whatever Spurs bring. If 15k season ticket holders stay away it'll be sub 30k. Our lowest ever PL crowd is just over 32k which was due to the reduced capacity when the Gallowgate was being rebuilt. In fact we are the only club in the history of the Premier League never to have had an attendance of under 30k.
  2. It's less than that now. Around 33-34k I think. If you look at the stadium plan as soon as a match goes on members sale there's at least 15k spare seats to choose from not including the 3,200 greyed out for what the away team are entitled to.
  3. Sad thing is it's that mentally shown by the likes of him why nothing will ever change and we'll just continue to drift along aimlessly, just a shell of a football club simply existing to force the Sports Direct brand into as many people Worldwide as possible. I've been watching NUFC since 1983 but if this latest protest doesn't get off the ground because the majority of the fans can't be bothered to miss one game that's on the telly anyway that's me done with it all. Season ticket won't be used again this season and isn't being renewed for next season. I'll find something else to do with my time and leave watching that shower to those who deserve it.
  4. My god, you depress me. It'll be a huge embarrassment if it isn't an obvious boycott, tbh. The publicity it's been getting (now on FSF) has been considerable, so if the attendance is in the 40,000's we will look like complete fools. No way the attendance will be sub 40K. It was only sub 40K on a couple of occasions in the Championship man. People have paid for season tickets and match tickets, they aren't going to pay for them and then not go. Without even checking I can think of 5 or 6 sub 40k crowds in the Championship season. I'm a season ticket holder unhappy with the way the club is being run so I'm going to boycott Sunday. The likes of yourself have the club you deserve. Hope you enjoy many more years of nothingness, losing any decent talent we might have and getting our pants pulled down twice a year off the mackems. Ps if your home life is so miserable that you need to get out the house for a few hours maybe you should consider a divorce.
  5. The thing is though we've had some pretty poor cup crowds recently (15k v Plymouth, 20k v Spurs ironically, and loads of others in the mid 20k's and a lot of those crowds were made up of kids who can't afford to go to the league games so there's probably only 10-12k max who literally can't miss a NUFC home game for whatever reason. I fear that come the day there'll be a lot of selfish bastards who will think well I've paid for my ticket so I'm going regardless. These aren't true fans in my opinion.
  6. Remember it's down to everyone to ensure this is a success. I've managed to convince 2 season ticket holders from work who were planning on attending to boycott Spurs (it took some doing for one of them!) and I'm still working on another one who reckons he's still going. I'm going to show him that TF video on my phone later. If that doesn't work I'll have to threaten him.
  7. Couldn't care less about the result so I won't give a prediction. Official attendance 47,259 Actual attendance 36,341
  8. Added to that it's live in Sky so you can watch it anyway. People can still go out in the drink with their mates but just stop in the pub instead of watching that sh*t. It's hardly a chore missing one game that everyone can watch anyway in the grand scheme of things.

    Sunderland

There's a thread on their forum mocking us for only taking 800 fans to Liverpool, with them congratulating themselves saying they'd take much more than that until about 6 pages in (aye a thread about our away following really did generate as much interest) mentions that they only took 714 to Anfield last season, not to mention the 619 to Goodison a few years previous. They really are a bunch of right thick tw@ts mind.
  10. You could pick a team from the Conference, any one, and they would give Liverpool a harder game than they're getting tonight.

    Sunderland

They won't go down. They were in a far worse position this time last season with even more difficult fixtures to play and stayed up. The 3 that's there now will more than likely go down but if one of them stops up it'll be at the expense of Hull.

    Sunderland

Same here. 3 wins in 22, and in a relegation dogfight so let's organise a plane. Small time in the extreme and will cement what we've always known about them. Beating Newcastle is all that matters, the other 36 games are irrelevant. Glad we didn't go down this route when we were regularly beating them but it shows the difference in priorities between the two sets of fans.
  13. It's the likes of you that the non boycotters need to be taking a look at. Well done sir! On the positive side there's still literally 1000's upon 1000's of unsold seats for Spurs which shows the uptake of general sale tickets has been very poor so if (and it's a big if) a lot if season ticket holders boycott it could look pretty sparse on telly.
  14. Haha that's Paullys dad!
  15. Not too bothered about it only because there's bigger things to worry about but it just goes to underline the total lack of professionalism and the general couldn't care less attitude running throughout the squad. Imagine the likes of Roy Keane or Tony Adams congratulating an opposition player for scoring a goal against them in any game let alone a derby. It just wouldn't happen. As a side note it's been sad to see the decline of Krul over the years. He was better as a 17 year old 10 years ago than he is now.
  16. Here's the template our lot need to follow; http://m.bleacherreport.com/articles/2406338-ac-milan-fan-protests-may-accelerate-sale-talk-for-club
  17. This match doesn't really count as it's only a bonus game so I'm not really sure why Sky are showing it.

    John Carver

When I first started going Arthur Cox was the manager so nice seen a fair few managers come and go but Carver us without doubt the worst of the lot. Never seen such an uninterested, disorganised looking rabble in my life. I could quite easily see us go for the rest if the season without even scoring another goal. The Ardiles times were grim but it was basically a team full of kids and the football was pretty exciting at times.
  19. Yet these same fans will boo the team off each half such is their backing lol that's what f***ing gets me. If anyone dares to lose the ball "f*** off useless c***!' yeah supporting the lads tbh Exactly. We're hardly the most supportive crowd these days anyway so whether there's 10k or 50k there to support the players it matters not a bit. Then there's the question of whether the players deserve any support anyway after the latest cowardly performance from them (and the head coach). And besides all this I couldn't care less if we do get relegated. The last 3 seasons of PL football have been soul destroying anyway plus if we did go down Ashley would lose a boat load of money and his sports shop wouldn't get the same global exposure on telly which would please me. In fact I can't see any negatives to a boycott. The only problem is you only need to look around SJP on a match day to see that most of the gutless b******s in the stands these days haven't hot the gumption to do it.
  20. I'm a season ticket holder and I won't be going. Didn't bother with the last home game either.
  21. Pulled in a crowd of 1,453 for their match against Whitley Bay tonight.
  22. Just been reading about the Blackpool fans attacking the directors box last night. Hmmm.
  23. Would be great to get Rangers fans on board. Let's face it they're far more proactive than we are.
