  1. I know we play everyone twice, but I actually quite like the look of that. We don't have what you'd call a really bad month where we play all the top teams and could potentially get into a bit of a rut. It's all spread out nicely.
  2. They're starting with the made up stories about Newcastle fans getting battered by MLFs over in Germany now Honestly there's not another fanbase remotely like that lot out there!
  3. Eventually loyalty points will prevent it from being a lucky dip though. Tbh the ballot needs scrapped altogether amyway. It's an awful system. Go back to the old way but introduce loyalty points for members. As time progresses start with the thresholds. Man Utd away goes on sale to members with 10+ points first and so on. Then you're starting to reward loyalty instead of it being a lucky dip.
  4. It wouldn't be an overnight fix but by law of averages, over time the more games you apply for, the more games you'll attend, and the more points you'll accrue. It's been a tried and tested method at other clubs.
  5. They need to start a loyalty scheme for members at the very least whereby you accumulate points based on how many home games you attend (obviously away games are a non starter as things stand). Then for the big games they sell it to members on a loyalty points basis. When we play the likes of Liverpool, Arsenal, Man Utd etc if nothing else it would make it more difficult for away fans to infiltrate home sections and then as time goes on, the members who go to the most games get priority.
  6. If it's still a ballot I'm out regardless.
  7. Sacked by Hull because their owner wanted to play attacking football and he didn't.
  8. They're already busy convincing themselves that Rosenior is the man they wanted all along.
  9. Personally thought it was shite when we've played at the SoL but each to their own I suppose. Prefer something that the fans can interact with or is at least a bit catchy rather than standing there listening to Classical music before KO.
  10. Our new kit launch has really hit them hard mind. Not sure why, but it has.
  11. Aye prices are reasonable enough. Obviously got to factor in the added costs of playing in that league as well. Think they'll average 500-600 next season.
  12. It did boil over on occasion mind. Remember Rocky getting threatened whilst out shopping in the Metrocentre
  13. If we've got to sell Bruno to Liverpool or face a 6 point deduction, that basically tells you everything you need to know about these rules. There purely to keep the 3 American owned red teams at the top amd handicapping anyone trying to challenge them.
  14. toontoon who rang Walter whilst he was at a funeral causing a meltdown of epic proportions!
  15. Aye he's harmless enough like. Apparently a canny enough lad away from social media as well although I've never had the pleasure of his company.
  16. Haha no there was 2 of us. There was a Wallsend Mag and a Wallsendmag I believe. Unfortunately I'm not blessed with such riches
  17. He is indeed. John Ramsay. Harmless enough but absolutely obsessed with Newcastle United.
  18. They announced their season ticket prices the other day. £145 for adults and £90 for over 65s. Kids (U16s) as always go free. Prices on the gate are £9 adults and £6 OAPs. Dunston charging £120 and Ashington £150 as a comparison.
  19. Happens every time at club grounds. Naive to not expect it at SJP. I remember Andros Townsend getting ridiculous amounts of abuse at the SoL in an England shirt because he played for us. Even at Wembley there was a good few years where Man Utd players would get targeted. Ultimately people think more of their club team than they do of England (generally speaking) so it will always happen.
  20. Beehive used to sell it Pre Covid but can't remember seeing it since. Probably wouldn't taste the same anyway now if you could still get it. Remember it being my drink in the Battle Hill Club in the Mid 90s. 99p a pint. Loved the stuff!
  21. They haven't. People are assuming that figure because they haven't released the seats that haven't been renewed for sale yet.
  22. I've stuck £20 on Man Utd to win the Cup @ 5/1 as a little insurance policy.
  23. Tbf that was PSG in our first home Champions League match in 20 years. Excitement levels were off the scale. With the best will in the world you aren't going to get people piling in an hour before KO for a run of the mill game v Bournemouth.
  24. Sounds like she's a ticket tout. This won't go down well the way away fans have been treat by the club this season.
