  1. I'd stick them in the largest of the 4 corners underneath the TV Studios. That corner holds near enough 3k. The obvious problem with that though is it's close proximity to the Platinum Club/Bar 1892 and you know they'd kick up a stink!
  2. Watch any Premier League game on TV and you'll see 1000s of fans packed behind 1 goal all stood up for the entirety of the game. Never understood why we are treated any differently than all the other clubs but its very noticeable that the % of fans who stand up at the match is much smaller than at any other ground, with the possible exception of Fulham Bournemouth and Sheff Utd. As I said yesterday was the most miserable matchday experience I've ever had, certainly when we've won. Typical when we finally look like getting our act together and being a force on the pitch!!
  3. It does benefit the club. What do they care about me missing the first 10 mins of the match when instead of having to print out and post me my ticket they can simply email it to me instead. It's much more beneficial to them to do that, but no good to me. 40 years I've been going to SJP and I've never ever known anything like that yesterday. It's not an experience I'll be repeating either.
  4. Waste of time mate. The club have decided this is the way forward. Same with away tickets. You either take it or you leave it. Trust can't/won't do a thing about it. I'll leave it. It's not an enjoyable experience for me.
  5. I've been going to SJP since 1984. I've never had to queue 35 mins for some chips before. Ever.
  6. They fucked us over last year v Liverpool ironically. Only difference there is that they didn't deem us important enough to realise a statement immediately afterwards apologising.
  7. Well that's me done with it all this season. Won't be applying in any more of those ballets. Got to our turnstile at 14.40. I think getting to the turnstile 20 mins before the match is reasonable enough. Used to be 5 mins with the old system but fair enough I'll move with the times and get there earlier now they've made it more difficult to get in. Queue was ridiculous. Finally took our seats at 15.10. Had more or less lost the will to live by this point so instead of being full of excitement like I usually am I simply couldn't be arsed, as couldn't the bairn I noticed. Atmosphere was dreadful to say tbe least and noticed plenty of people still filtering in after us. We'd had nowt to eat as the bairn had been playing football in the morning and we came straight from there. Decided to leave to head to the kiosk on 40 mins to beat the queues. Waited 35 mins for some curry and chips. Took our seats for the 2nd half on 62 mins. By this time I simply couldn't be arsed with the whole experience. Sat for 15 mins and decided just to go back to the pub as I simply couldn't be bothered with it all. Got offered a ticket for PSG in the Five Swans after the match (I was unsuccessful in the ballot). Knocked it back. I'd rather watch it on the TV. It's far easier. Thought the atmosphere was awful today. Other than the Burnley fans and the usual corner of the Gallowgate it was deathly silent. Its a shame really.
  8. I had 30 quid on them at 13/10. Was literally buying money. Thought they'd be odds on. Couldn't believe the price. That's my beer money for the match today sorted.
  9. Seen an interview with him a while back when he said that Newcastle were his English club. Must have struck lucky in the ballot for this one.
  10. I think if you are selling an unlimited amount of memberships, and I have no problem with that as plenty of other clubs do it and it's a good way to generate money, you must also have some sort of loyalty programme in place to run alongside it. Currently anyone, NUFC fan or not can become a member and have exactly the same chance of gaining access as a NUFC of many years amd that can't be right when demand is so high.
  11. Just to confirm the 0-8 has officially broken them. They've even had to resort to locking the NUFC sportswashing thread on parsnip. Never been know before
  12. I'll be honest I can't remember the last time I was so gutted after a game than I was after that Liverpool game the other week!
  13. Aye with Burnley being £44 for Cat 2 that will definitely be the minimum as they will certainly be in the lowest category of teams. Considering we've played Liverpool, Villa and now Burnley at home I think it would be a reasonable assumption that there are only 2 different price bands that opposition clubs will fall into as Liverpool would definitely be top price band.
  14. I was 0/3 and now 2/2 and applied for all 5 with the bairn like.
  15. Aye Burnley showing now but no mention of where the seats are although I know they'll be somewhere up in L7 in the family bit.
  16. Nowt showing on my NUFC account but they've taken £46 out the bank Which I assume must be the price of an adult and child in the family section then. That's 2/2 after starting the season with 0/3. Hopefully 3 in a row with PSG!
  17. Just had £46 debited from my account. Were we finding out about Burnley today?
  18. I'm the same now. 1/3 with Man City being my first success. Also in for Burnley and will try for PSG as well.
  19. Ah cheers mate that could well explain it. We're in LWC level 4.
  20. Showed Milan what they missed out on there. Another immaculate display from our future captain.
  21. Proper Captains display from him tonight. MOTM by a mile for me.
  22. Thought he looked really uninterested tonight. Not sure if he's sulking a bit but he just didn't seem quite right to me.
  23. Checked the tickets I've been allocated for Man City and they've given me seat number 80 and my 10 year old son seat number 72. I'm aware they don't allow U14s to go in without an adult anymore so seems a but strange for them to seat us apart.
