It's changed quite a bit since then mate. The stands are far steeper than they were back in those days, the fans won't be packed in and the facilities are a million times better.

People would be stood up for a start. Plenty do in the front and upper tiers anyway (Plus the corner) but all 12,000 standing would be immense and would massively help the atmosphere (not that it's needed much help lately).

I agree. He played a massive part in getting us straight back up at the 1st time of asking. He's well past his best now but that's hardly his fault. If he's selected to play he'll always give his all. He's just not at the required level now.

I've long been an advocate of cashing in on him as I think he spends too much time out injured, especially for a GK, but having watched him return from his latest injury I'm thinking more and more that it's a position we maybe need to look at strengthening next month.
