I'm happy with how the first half has gone. A game like this is perfect to show how our defence can concentrate for long periods of the game. Only a few seasons ago, our defence would crumble with the sight of a team passing the ball continuously around us. A player would loose their man too easily, or not realise the players around them, in the first half I had complete confidence in what we are doing. Yes we need more of the ball second half, but we can't go chasing after too many loose balls, as we'd loose our whole set up.

Why is Pedro not playing as regularly as last season? I think he is a quality player.

I'm not to fussed about the decision. Perch did a better job than Santon against Arsenal, also if he did take a knock, there is little need to risk him. Lets just see how it pans out. Don't get me wrong I 100% prefer Santon but we can't have a go at the line up before we've even started... Perch 1st goal.

Valencia by far is my favourite United player. Every time I have watched him he has been quality.

How can people defend Ben Arfa there. He doesn't want to graft when the time is right, he doesn't want to pass when the time is right, he doesn't want to cross when the time is right, and he runs out of play to often to easily. The rest of the team were awful today, but if anyone can defend him, and saying he should start is a joke imo.

Dennis The Menace seems to be having a decent game against City.

I booked the day off. Don't ask why, probs just sit in front of skysportsnews sh*****g myself all day. Id rather us sign no one, and let no one go; than sign someone, and let any of our big guns go. As they say in 'Sean Of The Dead', lets go the pub, and wait for all this to blow over. -

I didn't get last years one due to the fact I thought 1. It was horrible, 2. The adidas one we had in the Championship was a million times better, 3. I worked in JJB, so I bought the adidas one before THAT game against Villa, so didn't really want to waste more money on shirts. I bought with discount for like £35, the next day it went down to like £20.

Rubbish this. I support Newcastle, and about 5 of my mates are Everton fans. We are all heading up from Liverpool on the Saturday 3rd, myself hopefully going the game, then celebrating one of the lads birthdays with the rest of the toon army, when we (hopefully) beat the mackems. This is going to have to change our plans abit im sure we'll figure something out though. Would of been better on the Saturday.
