We can demand attractive football when we assure our premier league status for the next 2-3 years, and we have an owner that is willing to pay for footballers that actually play decent football that cost more than our current transfer targets for this season. Unfortunately we are no longer at that stage and need to rebuild to get back to that stage. For now, we are simply no better than the likes of Bolton/Wigan/West Ham/Wolves, heck even those teams have got a squad that could get a result against us home and away, not being pessimistic, but its the results against the likes of those teams and Blackbool/WBA and picking up hard earned points here and there against Top 8 sides is what will keep us up, and I think thats what Hughton is aiming for this season, we also need to make sure we would rather draw than lose at home if the situation arises, home advantage is what the likes of Wigan and Wolves stayed up on last season.

Bit of an easy question tbh.
-
Xisco - club captain "So lads, we'll start at Tiger and head over to Tup after that, then we're meeting Nicky Butt at digi later" Ranger as VC, AIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIGHT.
-
I'd have done the same. A win is a win, tough luck Ghana. I know its unfair.
-
Knowing Hughton it will most likely be Smith, since hes made him captain every time hes played basically ahead of Nolan.
-
Im convinced he'll chip in with some goals, probably 4-5, its not him who im worried about, even tho there are massive question marks over his fitness and performance in the Premier League.
-
Nolan, seems like hes going to play a massive role for us next season.
-
Cant wait, I miss the football season.

Celtic, Plymouth, Real Madrid and Inter Milan.

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/world-cup-2010/news/7858035/England-v-Germany-Joe-Cole-admits-problems-must-be-addressed.html Sounds about right, Joe you havent exactly done well as a super-sub either.

Just got back, in all fairness, its decisions like these today why video technology MUST and I repeat MUST be used in football, Blatter needs to get off his fucking high-horse and implement it, in anycase besides that, the English defence was carved apart today, they tried playing offside for their first two goals and failed miserably. Their two other goals were defensive failures from my point of view, as they have been counterattacked far too easily.

Suspended. Highlight of the night, tbf. Commentator - "Carragher has been booked which means he misses the game against Slovenia on Thursday" Me - "GTFI" Defense was the best part of the England side today tbh.

4-3-1-2 next game please James G. Johnson Terry Carra A. Cole G. Barry Lampard J. Cole Gerrard Rooney Defoe/Crouch
-
Cappello is starting to piss me off, Why isnt Defoe playing, Rooney hasnt been able to do anything at all in this tourney so far, especially for the fact that everyone in England expected Rooney to be the main man for them in this tournament, Lampard and Gerrard have been painfuly average to watch so far, the midfield and the front two have been non-existant so far.

The man spent 10 years with us, and it was about time he won something, he was a great servant to the club, things were getting so bad he just had to go for his career's sake. Legend.
-
Going to be one long tough season this.
-
for realzies? I've heard that as well.
-
For fuck sake, Joe Hart is the best choice, what is wrong with Cappello
-
Okay.
-
We should be going for Ilan, but knowing us, we wont. Dear God, this is going to be one awful summer.
-
Carroll and Lovenkrands would do just fine under a midfield that provides them service constantly in the prem in my opinion.
-
Would be glad if we signed him.

Am I the only one who thinks Vela is massively overrated?
