I'm pretty certain most, if not all, of the players links are bullshit, but there's no way they don't have a manager shortlist drawn up. They're not going to tell the press they're replacing the current manager, it helps no one. If there's already a DoF lined up then there's at least a vague idea of a managerial shortlist.

Have been meaning to ask why there are so many Americans in Germany actually. Do the players tend to come from military families? I'm not really sure, it used to mostly be military kids but not anymore. I think it's mostly because they wouldn't get a work permit in the UK, German clubs have thoroughly scouted the US recently, and it's an easier cultural adjustment then Spain or Italy. There's a bunch more playing throughout German academics, too. Disappointing Rayna got hurt and missed this start, would've been a great platform for him.

A few people have said this in regards to the Premier League's large resources, but it was mentioned in a recent book about the early years of the league that today they operate with a pretty small staff in a nondescript office. Not that they don't have access to world-class lawyers who will be handling this, but their operating staff is definitely smaller that you'd think for a league of their stature. Either way, as we've been told by multiple people, following this day-by-day is just going to cause stress. Just have to let it play out and hope for the best.
