It was a platform about a foot high, so the cameraman can get a better shot of wembley in the background.

Or signs for us.

He'll go down in history though with his revolutionary 901 formation.
-
Pardew would have benched him for his lack of defensive effort.

Diego Maradona was a similar build but carried more weight, he wasn't a bad player was he?

There's a difference. I think we'll finish 16th because i'm pessimistic where NUFC are concerned, he says we'll finish 16th more out of hope because he's a cunt.

I was on holiday in Cyprus a couple of years ago and there was a wedding party in the hotel from Motherwell, cracking bunch as it went. But the mother of the bride, who reminded me of Mutha Bacon, had BRUCE LEE tattoo'd down her forarm. Home made in indian ink. Not a picture of bruce lee, just the barely legible lettering. Easily the best tattoo i have ever seen.

Manchester City vs. Newcastle United - 19/08/13 @ 8pm (Sky Sports 1)

2-0 down early doors, another late on. Our manager will claim a moral victory due to them being the best side ever. http://www.welovetheiraqiinformationminister.com/images/07-minister.jpg -
Imagine if we'd grabbed him in January Probably would have scored three goals for the entire year. Pardew would have publicy criticized him for not providing enough cover for Santon. He'd then have spent the rest of the season grabbing a few minutes off the bench.

I'm not sure Australia have enough stadiums that would meet FIFA criteria. There's plenty of new ish grounds that hold 15000 ish which would be perfect for Paraguay vs Switzerland but don't FIFA demand every seat to be covered? Australia would fall down on that rule. Newcastle jets ground is canny but i don't think FIFA would allow fans to sit on a grass bank. -

Qatar's about the size of Yorkshire if I'm not mistaken, with one major city. So that's like building a dozen new stadiums in Leeds. And basing 32 teams and all their supporters in and around Leeds. It's borderline retarded. -

Qatar's bid was succesful because they offered the most money they claimed the could cool the stadia to ~25 degrees. even though the technology hasn't been invented. You see, the bitch with air conditioning is that you need to enclose the space ie close the patio doors on your hotel room. It's never ever going to work on an open air stadium. The Qataris and FIFA knew before the world cup was awarded that it was impossible to hold it there in June. The fan parks ffs! Hundreds of thousands of fans would be literally cooked. During USA '94, one of my favourite world cups as it goes, the temperature often hit 35deg. Anyone remember Ireland vs Mexico? Ireland never had a chance of winning the world cup but against Mexico they fucking wilted. Imagine 10deg higher? It would be fucking insane. The only solution as far as i'm concerned is to give the world cup to a country that can realisticly host it. USA, Australia or England. No way should it be moved to winter to accomodate the highest bidder. -
Fuck off, my phone threw a fit.

The agent was to secure other work due to football paying relatively little. A deal at our club that springs to mind was N'zogbia. It dragged on for ages, yet he knew what the likes of Milner and Taylor were on, players of a similar age and standing at the club. So he knew exactly what he could realistically expect. But somehow it took forever, that could have been Freddie Shepherd being tight but was far more likely due to Zoggys agent being a cunt. So months later the lad gets the same as Taylor minus the 15% or whatever his agent takes.
-
In days gone by when players earned a hundred pounds a week and opened supermarkets on Tuesday afternoons I can see why they would require an agent. But now I'm baffled by it. The only reasons to have an agent is laziness and probably stupidity. I bet everyone in our dressing room knows to within a few quid what everyone else is on, and unless you're a complete wanker / moron you know where you are in the pecking order. So why pay somebody else to do your asking?
-
Far too far forward, he reached the goal line ffs! How exposed was the right back?
-
Which is exactly what he'll get against city, when he replaces Goufran. Pardew has already submitted his teamsheet plus substitutions.
-
Great post. I'm a great guy.
-
For an extra twenty quid we could have had him in a weeks ago, so by the time man city comes around he'd be up to speed. Who the fuck am i kidding? Pardew would have used that time to assess the lad and come to the conclusion his work rate isn't high enough and he doesn't protect the full back enough.

I had this idea the other day, i'm (only half jokingly) considering giving up football completely. After 30 years of attending games i wonder if i could just stop, cancel sky sports, not watch match of the day. And i fully understand the general reaction on here would be well fuck off then fair weather fan. Because that would probably be my reaction to someone else saying it. But it's something i'm considering just to see if i can do it. Genuine crisis of faith here like, and it's due in no small part to the drivel we were subjected to last season which shows no signs at all of imroving.

He's fast. That's pretty much it. Idiotic stuff. It reminds me very much of Souness putting Shola on the wing. He basically just picks 11 players then trys to fit them into his favourite formation. Sissoko is the odd man out if you like.

The socks are our away ones surely? With rangers wearing black socks.

Is anyone watching the Charles Green interview on SSN? Jesus what a clown this bloke is.
