    Papiss Cissé

A massive wave of relief sweeps accross newcastle, then we realise we're actually no further forward than we were in may.

    Papiss Cissé

Do we know if there's been any talks between Cisse and the club, or the club and Wonga in the last few days? Or are they just happy enough to let him train on his own, I have this image of Kinnear bending over with his head in a fire bucket.
  3. Watching us is like watching Zaire at the '74 World Cup. It's as though Pardew found a country that had never seen a football match, went there and rounded up a group of guys. Then explained the rules to them on the way to the game. While he was driving the bus.
  4. If the club aren't interested in transfers why did they hire a bloke to look after transfers?

    Alan Pardew

I'm not falling for any of his shit. I was just reading the season ticket thread thinking there's never been a season where i've wanted a season ticket less. I need some anti depressants.

    Bafetimbi Gomis

I wouldn't be at all surprised if Kinnear vetos this transfer and tables a bid for Dean Ashton.
  7. Same old same old with this club. If you think this is bad, just give it ten minutes!
  8. Ashley is probably slipping him a hundred notes per game attended, to cover the train and a couple of pints. They just want to make it sound a bigger deal than it actually is to get up folks noses. Successfully, as it goes.
  9. Gameiro's a midget so if we're going to continue to punt the ball 70 yards to him while offering no support, we'll be even worse than last season.
  10. I remember being totally in shock, in January when a handful of really promising and unexpected signings landed at once. Part of me is thinking "just relax because the club is beavering away behind the scenes, come opening day we're gonna have an awesome squad" Then i tell myself - stop being a fucking mong!
  11. I knew roughly of his story but reading about it there was fantastic. Not so much for the football, but the Nazi aspect. I've never been able to get my head around the decade preceeding WW2, i mean i know what happened and why it happened in a "GCSE history way" but the whole thing just seems impossible. So it's good to hear the point of view of a guy who lived it. "Travelling is the best education," - Couldn't agree more Bert. R.I.P

    Bafetimbi Gomis

Cheers, so he's looking like a replacement rather than a partner for Cisse? Unless Pardew's thinking 442.

    Bafetimbi Gomis

I can't be arsed reading the last ten pages, is this guy more of a 442 than a 433 striker. And if we played 433 is he capable of playing out wide?

    Hatem Ben Arfa

    Fucking douchebag.

    Hatem Ben Arfa

Ffs, i bet Kinnear and Pardew would love downing. They'd pobably do a straight swap.

    Bafetimbi Gomis

The that surprises me most is that fat boy Joe hasn't heard of Douglas but apparently has heard of Gomis.

    Hatem Ben Arfa

If it was going to happen i'd have thought they'd have at least tried earlier in the window using Carroll in a swap deal.

    Hatem Ben Arfa

If we're gonna sell Hatem we might as well just wind the club up, knock the stadium down and all play bowls of a saturday afternoon.
  19. His voice grates on me. Has that been covered at all? Add it to the list. I'd rather listen finger nails being dragged down a blackboard.
  20. We'll play for a 0-0 and be 2 down inside 15 minutes.
  21. I thought that but she's only 6'1". Same height as my mrs.
  22. This is going to sound sexist so i'll try my best not to. I'm amazed 8000 people pay to wtach this standard of football, it's on a par with the victory shield.
