  1. Against a better side City could be 2 nil down already here, they're there for the taking, not convinced by them yet at all
  2. Think Man Utd will beat City today unfortunately. They're shite but still have a decent record of beating City last few years and with it being early in the season its the best time to play them, City haven't looked that good for a few weeks now.
  3. Doubt it was as extreme as that, but Wolves is the shittest away end in the league, so hard to make a proper atmosphere when you're all so spread out and it's just a grim place in general
  4. I agree, just hate being beat by fucking Man Utd as if we had a fully fit squad we'd beat them
  5. Yeah the first 11 is still really good, problem is we've got this, Man Utd Wednesday and then Arsenal Saturday, realistically this side won't be able to be at their best for all 3 of them, after tonight one of them is a write off
  6. Yeah it can be done faster, I just think in general mind. I don't have a solution for it but offside was brought in to stop goal hanging and attackers gaining an advantage by being so far ahead of the defender. Being a millimeter in front, a toe, a finger etc, you're not gaining any advantage whatsoever but are still technically offside. The whole rule is shit.
  7. It's just bullshit, offside was never brought in for such millimeter decisions like that, it's about gaining an advantage, if your foot is 1cm in front of the defender I don't care what anyone says, you haven't gained an advantage from that, it's bollocks.

Some fucker needs to come and buy Jack Clarke by the sounds of it, too good for these and annoying how he keeps getting them results. Lose him and Roberts and theyd be done.
  9. Yeah I didn't get to the Tuesday night rearranged last season but will try this one whenever it is. Had a really good time at Hebburn last season so be interesting to see how Dunston is, it's good craic following Non League, I've been getting more into following Town over the last couple seasons. Yeah proper good set up at Worksop, went there when Grantham played them last season and aside from the result was a good day out, had a chat to a few of their fans and ended up in hospitality after the match with them, good lads and side and getting some really good crowds. Definitely on the up and have a fair bit if money so it's exciting times for their fans.
  10. Simon Thomas is absolutely dreadful
  11. Yep - can't stand Rooney myself so would be delighted to see him fail but I do feel really sorry for the Birmingham fans. They were going really well as well, no tactical, track record or footballing reason to bring Rooney in at all by the Birmingham owners other than wanting a "big name" for their play thing.
  12. Southampton 2 Birmingham 0 - looking like an inspired decision to sack off Eustace
  13. Not sure what to watch, Chelsea/Brentford feels routine home win unfortunately, they've picked up last few weeks Chelsea. Whereas Southampton v Birmingham will probably be closer and more intriguing with Rooney etc
  14. Yeah Ashington is the penultimate away game of the season; traditionally we always do a big weekend away for the last one, but that's Winterton in Scunthorpe and theres not much appeal for that so i think we'll all come up for Ashington. Only reason we chose Dunston is a lass that lives here now is from Newcastle and her Dad still lives there and follows Dunston so plan was to go for the match and then his social club on Sunday etc, we still went last year even though it was called off and was a good craic, just seem fated with this game.
  15. Thanks lads - was called off unfortunately! Fingers crossed the stars align somehow and we both end up with a free Saturday at some point, otherwise as i say it'll be a bastard of a trip on a Tuesday night at some point and we'll only bring a small mini bus.
  16. Meant to be coming up to Dunston with my local side Grantham Town tomorrow...they've announced a pitch inspection at 8am and sounds like the weathers been shite all week, for yous up there and knowing the pitch I assume there's not much chance of it being on? Real shame as we were beinging close to 100 fans up and many stopping the weekend - and now it'll be rearranged for a shitty Tuesday night when only about 20 will make it, exact same thing happened to us last season as well!
  17. Fuck sake, just our luck, two brilliant strikers on our books and both injury prone as fuck, desperately need a third than can actually play consistently
  18. I know it's only a couple of games and seems isolated to an extent, but I'm already starting to get pissed off/concerned about our knuckle draggers. Very rare you hear about bother at home European games for other English clubs yet we've seen it for both of ours. Some of our cunts just can't accept seeing other fans ffs, fucking grow up man
  19. Leicester struggling last 10 minutes, can feel a mackem equaliser coming, started well but Leicester look nowt special
  20. Cracking start to Galatasary/Bayern game, 1 nil Bayern but Gala have had 3 really good chances, good tempo and very attacking
  21. As much as I hate Chelsea and they are a club and fanbase to be despised, the way Arsenal have carried on over these last couple of years I'm willing Chelsea on here. I think it's a mix between Arteta being an absolute cunt and their modern YouTube fanbase wankers that sum up to me everything wrong with the current generation, but I really find myself disliking Arsenal these days, shame as back in the Henry days I used to really like them.
  22. That's a disgrace, like an actual disgrace. Not to be dramatic, but in a lot of ways that's actually worse than a VAR error, ala the Spurs game, as its blatant favoritism by the ref to Liverpool. Its a fucking joke

    England

Phillips and Maguire man - this is clearly Southgates first choice team and probably the one that starts next summer, it's impossible for anyone to break in to his first choice team as he just picks the same lot regardless. There's no way them two should be starting.
  24. City are always hit and miss first 15 games or so, lose some weird games, always come good after Christmas, great result for Arsenal to celebrate etc but means absolutely nothing
  25. Fucking Tonali cost Brighton there like
