God that to me read as more serious than just fainting because of the heat. One of my favourite Newcastle players ever, both him and Pav since I started supporting the club 2 years before that 95-96 season. Hope he gets better.

He was spectacular when he arrived. Remember he got rave reviews when we played Celtic in a pre-season friendly at an under-construction Celtic Park. It wasn't on Tv so hearing it on the radio and people were going on about him and made me so excited for the season to start. His first 4 games were fabulous. After that Bolton game, really wanted him to score quickly and he got it against Sheffield Wednesday. Was my favourite player and when he got sent off against Arsenal on Tv, I cried. I was 10 years old though.

I remember we came out with the old VHS tape of that 95/96 season review called So Close. I still have it stored somewhere. Was a pretty good watch at first before the heartbreaks later. Graham f***ing Fenton man ffs.

Quite like how adidas used to incorporate their 3 lines into each kit based on the kit's design instead of using the same templates like now. Pretty sure they pulled out of the Chelsea deal because they wanted to cut down on making kits. A shame really seeing the new Juve one being absolutely lush.

It's happening again! That feeling of excitement + nervousness + waiting game for news on Rafa!

The next few days will be like the days leading up to his appointment. People checking tweets from journalists, having a look at the ground or training facilities to see Rafa leave or come. Hysteria won't be as bad as then but that anxiety is up there with waiting for McClaren getting the sack or not to Rafa signing on the dotted line.

Just seen Juve wearing their new kit from yesterday's match. If we get anything similar to that (seeing it's similar to the Dortmund one) think it could work with the new EFL numbers.

Does those numbers have '24 balls' in them to represent 24 clubs?

If he stays, not only I'm confident that we'll go straight back up, but we could even have a real go at one of the cups as I think he'll want silveware as a mark of his stay. Of course promotion would be his priority.

That Dortmund kit with black as our main colour might be nice.
