They've got Champions League, so expecting a season similar to what we had last year, and they have an added 2 games in January due to the new format. Emery teams also tend to have a slight dip in his second season by all accounts too.

I've not really paid too much attention to them, how good are De Ligt and Mazraoui? Assuming they're half decent?
-
He could be worth that amount but right now he's worth half that.
-
Anyone mentioned Jak Alnwick? He didn't look like he'd ever be good enough for National League level at the time. Seems he's had a nice Football League career since though.

Jack Colback.

Oh and Debuchy was the best RB in a generation for us before Tripps came along.
-
Haidara before that horrific injury was decent too.
-
Rafa Benitez's Ciaran Clark.

I don't know if it's just a me thing, as admittedly it could be, as generally I can never be assed with reading long post after long post. But I swear every thread has become tedious recently, what should be exciting threads just has all of it blown out by what seems like the same people going round and round have a point scoring debate that never seems to have a natural end point. This would be such an exciting signing, but it feels like that buzz has just died completely due to the above happening. Like I said it could just be a me thing, as someone who likes to be positive in basically most things in life, and looks at things in an exciting manner, and try not to get bogged down in details, so I hold my hands up if that's the case, but things like this thread are just draining.

Dont see why not, our defence would be rock solid, sound tactic imo. -
Just noticed the Scottish league starts today, that has to be one of the earliest starts in European Winter Leagues (Bar Denmark who have a 2 month winter break). That feels a good 2 weeks early.

Swap Vlachodimos for Pope and Kelly for Burnley, and that he start against Southampton imo. -
How many of the rioters last night where actually from Sunderland? I was under the impression people tended to come from out of town to "protest".

Given how this was a bolt from the blue, I do wonder who are actual target is of RW, it'll probably someone not mentioned, and happen similarly to this.

I just set mine to France and it worked too. -
They actually mention in this that they're only ever going to change home shirt every other year from now on. More of this please.

Since 2010, West Ham have signed 55 signings in the forward/striker positions. Fullkrug will be 56.

Botman is left footed and Guehi is right.

Wew. Thought he was meant to be heading to Liverpool. Would be a hell of a coup if this happened.
