Im not going to look into this thread for a little while as I know it'll be bad for my blood pressure. What I will say is two things, anyone calling for him has a screw loose, he has done absolute fucking wonders for this club and three performances won't change that. Also, while these three performances have been poor, we have had three of the hardest games back to back, and there should be absolutely no pressure on him at this stage at all, from fans or from the board. He has so much credit in the bank it's unreal.

This performance feels very similar to the performances before the League Cup final last season, do we think the players are looking towards the Champions League a bit, hence why its felt very flat?

This has felt like the polar opposite of an Eddie Howe Newcastle team, we've had no intensity in our play at all, our passing is all over the place, haven't had any runners when we do get into the final third, and no-one arriving into the box from midfield. Its just been very very flat.

Think they've been shafted by the fixture list a bit to be honest, from what i've seen they've looked decent enough just naïve at the back, and when you're playing teams with elite players, you get found out, so far they've played: Man City (h) - 3-0 loss Aston Villa (h) - 3-1 loss Tottenham (a) - 5-2 loss The problem they have is that it doesn't get any easier for them over the next month or so, there next 5 are: Nottingham Forest (a) Man United (h) Newcastle (a) Chelsea (h) Brentford (a)
