Gillespie is a training keeper, who's probably on £10k a week, absolutely nothing wrong with him being around. As for Lascelles, we have a 25 man squad, we might as well use it, we need a 5th choice CB with all the games we'll be playing next season (At the very least 8 extra if we get Europa/ Champions League), and Lascelles is solid enough to be that, and add a whole lot to the leadership of the group. Have no issue with the contract renew.

*Unless that team is playing Real Madrid. ** Liverpool and Man United are exempt from this rule.

That goal has to be so demoralizing for Villa, 2-1 down going home to Villa Park, and you're content as anything can happen with a pumped up crowd behind you, but 3-1 looks like a small mountain to climb.
-
Another lovely goal that.
-
Obviously a long way to go, but a PSG vs Barcelona final would be really fun.
-
Shame Villa play Southampton this weekend, as they look dead on their feet here.
-
This PSG attack is so good its forcing Villa to play a 6-3-1 formation.
-
Oh for sure, 99/100 fullbacks can do nothing about that, still doesn't mean I can't find it funny
-
Not going to lie, its been annoying continually hearing "Villa's January window was so good" on repeat, so the fact that it was a January signing that was absolutely rinsed for that Kvaratskhelia goal is particularly lovely.
-
Holy fuck. Thats absolutely unbelievable.
-
Doue has clearly been studying videos of Harvey Barnes.
-
What a quality finish that is.
-
Wew. Completely against the run of play.
-
This is weird, Villa seem like they're both sitting deep, while at the same time playing a high line, as they simultaneously can't get out, but PSG are playing balls over their defense with ease. It's very odd

Is that article saying that his value goes down as he is in prime? Surely it's the opposite?

When Cooper was sacked, they where 16th with 10 points from 12 games. Since then Leicester have only collected 7 points from 19 games.

Think that'll depend on who wins the FA Cup, so if the table stays as is if Forest Win the FA Cup, that Europa League spot will go into the League as they'd have qualified for the Champions League so it'd look like: 5th: Champions League 6th: Europa League 7th: Europa League 8th: Conference League But if Palace win the FA Cup it'll be: 5th: Champions League 6th: Europa League 7th: Conference League

Birmingham became the first EFL club to get promoted this season yesterday.

BALLON D'OR; BALLON D'OR; BALLON D'OR

Well that was a lovely evening of association football. I'm off to have a shower for enjoying a Mikel Arteta managed Arsenal win.
-
It's about time this happened to Real Madrid, they've been so jammy for so long, and so entitled with it, like they think everyone should worship at the alter of their feet and it's been unbearable. So much so that I don't care if it's Arteta and Arsenal that are dishing this out, this is glorious. It's also objectively fucking hilarious that Mbappe joined and they look much worse for it.

3-0 Lovely lovely stuff.
