  1. The apparent state of the pitch in Moscow might make CSKA a decent outside bet. Not sure what they are.

Are you all getting the great mans autobiography?

Froggy's reason is one of the best I've heard like: "I really liked 'red' one day and it just happened that Man United were on TV that day - it could just have easily been Leyton Orient" It's not like I said it was a good reason to follow a club. It's just how it happened. I was only a child and she bought me a kit and it stuck. I'm not going to sit here and lie to you and come up with some bullshit reason how I started following the club, just to justify supporting Manchester United. For some people it's just unacceptable to support a team from somewhere when you're not from there. Like you genuinely think that if stop being successful I'll stop following the club. Do you legitimately know fans who would do that? A lot of you tar everybody with the same brush because of some idiot in Japan who only knows who Kagawa is. As a point of interest, would it actually change your mind on a Manchester United fan if we won nothing for ten years and they still supported the club? Or are they still glory hunters in that case?

That's never, ever going to happen Wullie. Stability was such a major issue when appointing a new manager. It's why Guardiola and Mourinho were overlooked. They're obviously much better managers than Moyes but what's the point in following Sir Alex with somebody who's going to leave in two or three years? Moyes is a very good manager who will still improve and should be successful will probably spend the rest of his career with us.

Moyes will get it right. I do think we'll be there or thereabouts come the end of the season, but if we can't win the league, we MUST qualify for the Champions League. Moyes will have had a season to set the team up the way he wants to play and then he'll be judged properly next season. There's no way he'll get sacked this season barring a bottom half finish. In regards to the game Southampton deserved the point and maybe more.
  6. I knew one Australian man who was exactly like you described. He was great with horses and an absolute gentleman. Froggy knows him too. Everything went well at first and Froggy was printing money. Everyone was smiling and buying him bottles of Scotch. It ended in tears when I found out he was full of s**** and not a single tip was a winner for me. Haven't heard about him in months. I don't work with him anymore. His first tip won me a fortune and then nothing.
  7. GW8: Newcastle 1-1 Liverpool Arsenal 3-1 Norwich Chelsea 3-0 Cardiff City Everton 2-1 Hull City Man Utd 3-1 Southampton Stoke City 1-2 West Brom Swansea 3-1 Sunderland West Ham 1-1 Man City Aston Villa 1-2 Tottenham Crystal Palace 1-0 Fulham
  8. Or if you're feeling brave, the scorecast price is 3521/1. May as well stick a quid on it.
  9. GW7: Man City 3-1 Everton Cardiff City 2-1 Newcastle Fulham 1-2 Stoke City Hull City 1-1 Aston Villa Liverpool 4-1 Crystal Palace Sunderland 1-3 Man Utd Norwich 0-2 Chelsea Southampton 2-2 Swansea Tottenham 2-0 West Ham West Brom 1-3 Arsenal
  10. Anderlecht/Olympiakos draw City/Bayern draw Shakthar/us draw PSG. 70/1. $20 on it. What a waste.
  11. odds? Returned 230 €. Quite decent actually. I thought it would have been far higher than that. Still a nice take for the stake.
  12. Unless you mean in Fantasy football, which you clearly do, and I'm a dick. He must have got a shedload of assists.
  13. Should never have been so cheap anyway. Was a consistent scorer at the end of last season where he was also £6m. Thinking of somebody else? Scored once in February and once in May.
  14. I done the same thing last week without even thinking to remove quote tags. Luckily all the scores I had so far were fucking wrong.
  15. Tottenham 2-2 Chelsea Aston Villa 0-2 Man City Fulham 1-1 Cardiff City Hull City 1-1 West Ham Man Utd 3-0 West Brom Southampton 2-1 Crystal Palace Swansea 1-2 Arsenal Stoke City 2-0 Norwich Sunderland 1-1 Liverpool Everton 1-1 Newcastle
  16. People should get Rooney in instead. If Rooney is in top form it isn't a downgrade.
  17. GW5: Norwich 1-1 Aston Villa Liverpool 3-1 Southampton Newcastle 2-0 Hull City West Brom 2-1 Sunderland West Ham 1-0 Everton Chelsea 2-0 Fulham Arsenal 2-0 Stoke City Crystal Palace 1-2 Swansea Cardiff City 1-1 Tottenham Man City 1-1 Man Utd
  18. "Ronaldo's deal will see him earn around £15m a year, nearly twice as much as new team-mate Gareth Bale, to underline his importance to the Spanish club. (Daily Mail)" Daily Mail man.
  19. Disagree again to be honest. Gattuso added fantastic balance to that midfield. At the time there were very few enforcers who could have complimented the other three better than he could. Agree with you though Ian. The team as a whole is one of the best I've ever seen. That midfield, Crespo and Shevchenko up front plus Maldini, Nesta, Stam, Cafu and Dida. Ridiculous. I cannot believe they threw away a 3 goal load to Gerrard and co.
  20. I don't think he would have taken anybodies midfield position in that Milan side. Seedorf, Kaka, Pirlo and Gattuso. Phenomenal side that was.
  21. For once we have a subject we can agree on. We've literally agreed on everything but the club I support. Haven't you noticed?
  22. Somebody didn't compare Lampard to Pirlo did they? Pirlo is different class to Lampard.
  23. Top bet is looking good, and at great odds as well. I have no clue about South American football.
