  1. ASM so fucking unprofessional. Please sell the fucker.
  2. Not sure Everton are getting what they deserve but Chelsea certainly are. Sweet fuck all.
  3. Real Madrid are monitoring Newcastle and Brazil midfielder Bruno Guimaraes, 24. (AS - in Spanish)
  4. Looking back at the videos I'm surprised Tielemans didn't take Willock out when he went past him. Glad he didn't but he would have just got a yellow and Leicester a point.
  5. Better get on with it here, as Leicester are about to take the reserves off and get at us.
  6. It's the height of conceit or just stupidity for Pep to have picked this side, hope Liverpool absolutely batter them.
  7. Pep sent them out to lose with the team he selected, and losing they are. Tit.
  8. Newcastle want to make Brentford's Christian Eriksen their 'flagship' summer signing and will compete with Tottenham, Everton and West Ham for the 30-year-old Denmark midfielder, while the Bees are keen to extend his contract in west London. (Northern Echo) Both Arsenal and Newcastle are linked with Lyon midfielder Lucas Paqueta, 24. The Brazil international was previously linked with Paris St-Germain and has a price tag of around £58m. (Chronicle) Newcastle are poised to sign 17-year-old Irish defender Alex Murphy from Galway United. (RTE)
  9. I must be the only one that thought Merino was slow, weak and terrible when he didn't have the ball.
  10. It is all just so slow from both teams and for a neutral boring as well. If Wolves wake up and go for it they'll nick it 1-0.
  11. Joe Linton is just not involved in the game enough to play where he's playing, as a last resort I'd play him more central where Shelvey stands about, or as a CH or just sell him for glue.
  12. Newcastle and West Ham are keen to sign Union Berlin and Nigeria striker Taiwo Awoniyi, 24, this summer. (Sun) Arsenal, Manchester United and Tottenham have been told it will cost them £67m if they want to sign Uruguay striker Darwin Nunez, 22, from Portuguese club Benfica. (Express) Newcastle manager Eddie Howe says 25-year-old French winger Allan Saint-Maximin has a future at the club despite links with a move away. (90 Min) Newcastle have shown an interest in Juventus and Argentina forward Paulo Dybala, 28. (Corriere dello Sport - in Italian)
  13. Newcastle United are open to selling French forward Allan Saint-Maximin, 25, in the summer. (90min) Newcastle have made Reims' 19-year-old French striker Hugo Ekitike their top attacking target this summer. (Football Insider) The Magpies have set out a seven-player transfer wishlist which also includes Everton's England striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin, 25. (Mirror) But Newcastle are set to miss out on one target as AC Milan have agreed terms with Lille's 22-year-old Dutch centre-back Sven Botman following talks in the last week. (90min)
  14. FC Cologne's Timo Hubers is a £6m target for Newcastle, Leeds and Crystal Palace this summer, while West Ham, Southampton and Fulham are also monitoring the German centre-back, 25. (Mail) Newcastle have been told £25m will be enough to tempt Union Berlin into selling Nigeria striker Taiwo Awoniyi this summer, although West Ham and Southampton are also interested in the 24-year-old. (Bild - in German) Newcastle could offer England midfielder Kalvin Phillips a £120,000-a-week deal to sign the 26-year-old from Premier League rivals Leeds. (Mirror)
  15. This is absolutely where we are and should be reiterated in every thread. We have potentially two players good enough to get us into the top half of the table, Trippier who will need replacing in a season or two and hopefully Bruno. The rest including the three other signings we made in January are not fit for purpose and will not help us get into the top half of the table or not without a healthy dose of luck and a more astute manager.

    Joelinton

Joe hasn't looked good for a few games now and surprise surprise he maybe isn't the answer to our midfield problems. Problem is where else can we play him? Maybe CH he's big enough and ours are crap.
  17. We should really try picking our best player rather than leave him on the bench because he got on a plane.
  18. Newcastle, West Ham and Southampton have all discussed signing West Brom's Sam Johnstone and now Tottenham are back in the hunt for the England goalkeeper, 29. (Mail on Sunday) Arsenal's Germany goalkeeper Bernd Leno, 30, is ready to reject a move to Newcastle and return to the Bundesliga this summer. (Daily Star Sunday)
  19. Newcastle United want to sign 29-year-old Barcelona and Brazil midfielder Philippe Coutinho, currently on loan at Aston Villa.(Sport)
  20. We can't be signing people called Yeremy. What's next, watching hot chicks in The Witcher called Yennefer?
  21. Werner is a player that makes lots of goal scoring opportunities with his pace but is a very poor finisher. There was an article in the press either just before he signed for Chelsea or just after explaining why, something to do with his technique I remember. Since he signed for Chelsea he's gone backwards. At the moment we are not a team that has many chances and watching him miss the few we do have would not make for pleasant watching.
  22. Manchester United, Liverpool and Newcastle are interested in signing Portugal midfielder Otavio, 27, from Porto this summer. (A Bola - in Portuguese) Newcastle United are targeting Watford winger Ismaila Sarr, 24, with Liverpool also watching the Senegal international. (The Sun)

    England

It's on ESPN 2 but I'm in the Caribbean so it might be different in the States.
  24. If we sign Pogba I'm going to support another team, any other team actually, even a bloody Russian one.
  25. "There is only so much you can keep trying to butter someone up to give them confidence," manager Lampard said. "We are playing at the cut-throat end of football here. This is a cup quarter-final to get to Wembley and if you haven't got the confidence to play, you can quickly flip it and say have you got the bollocks to play? "Sorry, excuse me, but that is the football reality. If you fall somewhere in the middle then don't worry about it." First-half goals from Marc Guehi and Jean-Philippe Mateta put Palace in full control, before Wilfried Zaha and Will Hughes secured the win. "We didn't play that badly today and Palace didn't play that well and we lost 4-0 because of a lack of confidence and a lack of what I just said," Lampard added. "It wasn't tactics. Tactics showed in the first 20 minutes Palace couldn't get out of their half."
