Zero end product since he arrived here, but as he runs around a lot and is constantly played out of position (?) people seem to think he's not a problem.
-
He's definitely one of our more talented players although that bar is very low. But he's never really going to be a defensive player and as an attacker we've had plenty of time to see how little of a goal threat he is. Not sure where that leaves him. Hopefully sold and out of the team along with 99% of the rest of the squad.
-
Looked like he got caught in possession quite a lot and gave the ball away frequently. The stats will back it up I'm sure. Anyhow he's not mobile or aggressive enough to be a defensive midfielder in case people are thinking that's what we should do with him.

While Eddie fiddles NUFC burns.
-
Should be. He won't change the way he plays and it's not working.

Top managers need to be flexible and adaptable and find solutions. Howe wasn't when he was at Bournemouth and so far there is no sign that he will be here.
-
Apparently Digne thinks Rafa's football is too defensive. For Everton he's right, for us he's just what we needed.
-
Howe hasn't showed so far that he's learnt any lessons, why are you now convinced he will?
-
He has changed the team substantially. However we are no better than we were under Bruce and don't have anymore points than I expect Bruce would have got.
-
We are a terrible team with a manager who is not in any way suited to what we needed this season, unless we buy early and extremely intelligently in January we are down. All the people saying we were going to beat Leicester shouldn't be posting on a football forum because they know SFA.

So far MU are stinking
-
Considering not one of our players would start for Leicester it’s surprising some people are confident we are going to get something

Manchester United have joined Premier League strugglers Newcastle United in the race to sign Barcelona winger Ousmane Dembele, with the 24-year-old France international having made a decision over his future. (Mundo Deportivo, via Express) Newcastle boss Eddie Howe is lining up Stoke's 21-year-old English striker Tyrese Campbell as the first signing of the Saudi era at St James' Park. (Sun) Newcastle are also prepared to double the salaries of Burnley's English defenders Ben Mee, 32, and 29-year-old James Tarkowski to tempt them to quit the Clarets. (Mirror)

Maybe Origi though I doubt Liverpool would sell him.
-
Fantastic effort at the end there. There's life still.
-
Hang on and we have a fighting chance going forward of maybe doing something, concede or lose and that must be it as we aren't really very good'

Goal coming

Not looking very good so far.

You people on twitter, do you realise you are wasting your lives and in the end you'll become as brain dead as everyone else on there? It's not a healthy place for remotely normal intelligent people.

Newcastle boss Eddie Howe says English forward Dwight Gayle, 32, is in his plans after the player was linked with a return to Championship side West Brom, where he scored 24 goals on loan in 2018-19. (Birmingham Live) Well either Howe is bigging him up to increase any fee we can get for him, or he's as hopeless as some of us suspect. If he picks Richie tomorrow the jury will no longer be out.
-
I don't understand why clubs don't sack players more often especially when they are as useless as some of our players. Clark is crap, old, has no resale value, just pay off what's left of his contract and free up a place in the squad which we will have to do anyhow in January. Ditto Darlow, Krap, Richie, Gayle, etc.
-
I think so far Howe has got more wrong than right with his team selections, If they weren't suspended I'm sure Richie and Lascelles would have started tonight. He needs to learn very quickly or we'll be down before we can strengthen in January. There aren't too many bad sides likely to get relegated this season, Us, Norwich, Burnley, Watford maybe Southampton that's it really.

Poor penalty but got away with it.
