Update from club … Just to make you aware, we still haven’t received the tickets from Barcelona for the fixture on Wednesday night despite multiple attempts to chase. Once the club have received the tickets, we will get them out to supporters ASAP.

Not their style. SM is a cesspit. Actions speak louder than words. They like any of the others will have limited effect… be it FAB or NUSC. NUFC rule the roost. So ultimately that is where ALL complaints should be aimed if people have them. Not well minded groups like FAB NUST and NUSC. I think turning down free membership and review yourself their goings on over a 12 month period to judge yourself speaks louder TBH. Let the masses decide. But I expect silence…

Was happy to but you chose to respond again and I’m not rude so replied. Not sure what more encouragement anyone needs to join when talking about £1 or whatever it is for 12 months (I paid £10 for lifetime membership many moons ago). Don’t know many organisations that you pay to be a member of and give same benefits to those not members. Would encourage less members IMO surely. Also a bit contradictory for you to have a beef about lack of communication then say Action Speaks Louder Than Words. I agree it does. Still get regular updates every week. Happy to transfer you £1 if you DM your bank details so you can join and give your opinion if you got value for money regardless who’s s it is.

They communicate to their members. If you aren’t a member then you’ll see very little on social media as they don’t grandstand. So they aren’t valid. You’ve read a month’s worth of NUSC’s SM posts which I respectfully went through one by one shedding different light on each one. If that is what appeases you despite being misleading in some circumstances then so be it. Only you can decide what makes you happiest I suppose. Only you can ultimately change your thinking.

Eh? Don’t know how you can come to either conclusion? Was asked to give a bit of insight on the NUST which I did. I was then drawn into giving balance between them both which I have. I’m a huge advocate of members personally. As ARE the NUST as pointed out many of the board are just that. I’m not part of the board to be clear. As all my points have reiterated it depends what your expectations are from each group and some have either the wrong expectations or simply unfair ones. I take it you are a member of the NUST? And you attend the meetings? And you are a member of their WhatsApp group? … for you to judge they are a waste of time?

Absolute minuscule in comparison with the majority having to go on producing official accounts as required. Do NUSC provide these out of interest? Not wanting to get in a tit for tat as would come across as me favouring one massively over the other which is not the case as I repeat BOTH have their place. If I was to be picky then I’d say they couldn’t lay sole claim to the Qarabag point or bigger Barcelona allocation but might trumpet it louder than others. The same day cost price flights where more than my 3 day trip including my travel, stay and match ticket with beer money left to spare. Again. Not a criticism as it would serve the purpose for many fans. ALL groups attended the various workshops. All venues arranged it’s slowly being noted their drinks prices seem to be much higher than the average available. Fanzones are definitely where they seem to excel if Dortmund is what they replicate. Not really for me as I usually don’t look for home from home when abroad and like to go a bit more off the beaten track. Don’t take this as knocking them though. I’m glad they provide a service which suite many like minded fans.

You could argue it’s the least you’d expect if bringing in a salary/income of £210,000 per annum mind They definitely have their place and have always tried to highlight the differences between NUST and NUSC to help with expectations. Just a shame some people can’t understand that 🤷🏼‍♂️

NUST is run by really good people donating their time for nothing. They are split between ST holders and Members (mainly members) having the same issues like those mentioned on here getting tickets or concerned about atmospheres and pricing etc. The WhatsApp groups are responsive and informative and moderated well. For £10 for a lifetime membership I’ve found it an absolute bargain. Even at £1 a year (?) a bargain. The True Faith influence is non-existent. I rarely even hear them referred to anywhere these days TBH. I think the trouble with all these things is level of expectations of what any group can truly achieve or aiming to achieve. Out of interest what do you get from the NUSC for £15 per year which is a breath of fresh air. Also out of interest why were you dubious of them to begin with?

I was always of the opinion you keep Isak regardless of how unhappy and if still not resolved sell in January or Summer 26. I said go for BEK from Leicester as was keen for us to get more creativity, mobility and goals from a player who could drop wide and deeper if needed and he was on a set fee low wages. Didn’t understand the thinking it was either HIM or Ramsey. The backup plan was picking up DCL and Vardy on free’s as placeholders for 25/26 whilst the situation was determined with Isak or if sold and no one ideal available. Was the lone wolf on here to say don’t go near big Nick and that he’d cause more problems than he’d solve. Not sure what Edge check is or if it checks our WhatsApp or others Never suggested not having any forwards. Just suggested at worse get 2 without paying fees for them.

As I’ve said since day one. Just because he was getting us goals didn’t mean the team was functioning at its best. We’ve mainly looked much better and our old selves without him. Fascinating what will happen with him (and Wissa) this summer.

Don’t see a lot wrong with it TBH? 5% as expected in the current stadium. Can’t comment much on the disabled supporters but recall their prices being very low for two people. Didn’t everyone ask for the family enclosure to be greatly reduced?

Thought they’d decided against introducing the Wenger rule? Hope they do bring it in. Like all things in life. Try it and see what the effects are after a season or two. IMO as someone who hates the current method I think it’ll lead to less frustration. As it stands it seems a laborious process to allow 9/10 goals whereas this will be a laborious process to disallow 1/10 goals. Defend too deep will hopefully lead a return back to 25 yard shooting.

Not quite a simple question is it though? If all things were as planned we’d have Isak still and added Pedro/Ekitike and Trafford and would’ve already had Guehi and Szoboszlai bedded in for 12 months. We are 8th in the pecking order though with our wage bill. Historically teams disadvantaged geographically or successfully who need to catch up need to overpay in fees and wages in a very short space of time to maintain the the ability to retain the players. See Chelsea and Man City previous decades. Thats where PSR is evil genius how it is set up as it doesn’t allow this. It only allows it for a couple of years before you’ve got to start selling your best players instead as in the past building further upon them. So all in all our recruitment team are targeting the right players. PSR prevents us from attracting them on top of signing them. So you are left signing others that don’t move the needle very far or simply maintain it when you are already a cup winning team finishing 5th. So the only argument to be had really is should we have signed Wissa and Nic or kept the money in the bank instead and re-evaluate as didn’t seem much left in the market for us. I would’ve kept the money in the bank and signed Vardy and DCL on frees and looked again in January but I can also appreciate the outcry that would’ve caused

Thought this game summed up our season so far weirdly. Had all four of our “Centre Forwards” on the pitch at various times and none of them really looking like one. Tinkering of systems to try to make that problem work which in turn has a knock on effect all around the pitch. Ramsey season looking like lift off only to get derailed with either injuries or sickness etc. The lows and highs of Elanga struggling to make an impact. GK position still not fixed from the summer as the slow decline of Pope continues yet still the best option we currently have. Never short of heart and effort though so still always in a game but unable to keep clean sheets ultimately undoing a lot of good work we do to give ourselves a chance in games. Looks like being one of those seasons in the league. Still plenty of points to play for though so let’s see where we are come May.

You asking my personal thoughts or as devil’s advocate? From my experience you are allowed to use a range of turnstiles usually in a group of 8 but the club allow the ticket to activate a turnstile as long as it’s in the correct stand. There is now staff helping people using the smallest queue/turnstiles because you officially can. They aren’t the same. That’s silly TBH. No one misses the game regardless of which turnstile used so no loss incurred. Would imagine those who only use single devices already in the ground well before you anyway with their packed lunches

So is the club in breach of any T&C’s regarding how many tickets they offer? Don’t believe so as no commitment ever made. They’ve got to do what they see as right at times which will affect some fans. No different to multiple browser users beating other fans to the tickets on previous games despite the club making it clear they are against and try to detect them (?) without feeling the need to insert it in their T&C’s. It’s an interesting one.

Not backing the club but understand and not surprised what they’ve done. One thing I’ve not highlighted in previous posts is maybe it’s a bit of deliberate move for those wavering about not wanting to change ground whilst on the other hand another data grab by the club when planning it to see what the scope is. Was curious if they’ve found a way to detect those using multiple browsers and devices and that had played a part for those successful. Do we know anyone on here that was? (I’ve not heard of any). I dare say when some fans go down that route to gain tickets ahead of many fans who don’t there is a kind of moral kiosk for those taking a higher ground against the club though. Their approach for the Barcelona/Chelsea game will be interesting. Suspect not as as extreme.

Exactly. The process was unchanged. Just the quantity of tickets up for grabs via the process. Lowest number I heard unsuccessful was 390. Out of interest those not happy with the club I take it were all just using one device and one browser as permitted?

Always think it’s an exaggeration he shone in the U21’s. Didn’t get a kick when he faced more physical and quicker English defence in the final IMO which was the truer test for this league. They met in the group stages and Nick didn’t play and Germany faired better and won that one. Scored in other games but the two I saw and against Italy I wasn’t impressed. Anyway. Hope he does well and he finds a position in the team that works.
