    NUFC Transfer Rumours

New contract with increased wages and release clause incoming.

    St James' Park

Will judge when fully finished and I visit it next season. If the pitch views are brilliant and acoustics excellent then not much else needed really. Everton fans on the whole seem to love it already.
  3. i guess if the ones lucky in pot 4 who mess up payment might then have their tickets offered to those originally unlucky in pot 4.

    NUFC Transfer Rumours

Yes the APT easing will definitely help. Lot of pressure on getting the right signings this summer to achieve top 4 (or 5 if it counts also). Expecting the club to do this and show its 1st team ambitions to the current purples following on from announcing a new ground hopefully which allay any fears from the fans about the long term.

    NUFC Transfer Rumours

What I’ve been saying. None of our big players will leave this summer regardless where we finish. The journey for regular UCL begins 25/26. Anything we achieve this season a bonus.
  6. None of this a surprise. Was fairly common knowledge we had two big deals log-jammed by the EPL. Would love it to lead to us proving it was the difference to cover the PSR difference that ultimately lead us to having to sell Mintah and Anderson. What a chain of events that would cause

    St James' Park

Looks spot on for the outlay. No frills and designed for football in mind as first priority. Even better the fact the first player to score at it (tonight) was a Liverpool fan playing for Wigan.

    Match Atmosphere

Remember. It’s who’s in the stadium what makes the atmosphere…
  9. The annoying thing is (will try and keep it short!) The old bloke (& friend) who sits beside me didn’t turn up first home cup game. Next league game (he’s a ST holder) I quizzed him regarding his whereabouts and was only then he said he hadn’t bothered this year with cup scheme (despite being in it previous year and also at Wembley the year before) Told him off basically saying I would’ve found someone for his ticket if he couldn’t make it and as we’ve advanced he’s realised what a massive cock up he made. Annoying as it’s the likes of you both and others I would’ve gladly offered a final ticket too. Maybe would’ve had to hold my own ballot but still… I do have sympathy for the genuine members with this years criteria.
  10. It really isn’t man Re-read last years. There were always going to be ballots for each pot they just had no idea how big or small the pots would be hence they might need to ballot. This year they’ll of known where 95% of tickets were likely to go after Pot 1-3. The uncertainty of availability begins at Pot 4 hence that’s the first ballot. Good luck anyway and make sure card details are valid. A few have cocked up with out of date cards and not checked…
  11. Their route to the cup was different with only 1 home game before the semis and have played a game less. Our next scheme will have to differ depending on the route to final. Also although it’s clearer I’d suggest they’ll have more regulars disgruntled the way they’ve decided to do it as seems virtually everyone luck of the draw almost. Their anger of course is appeased by how regularly they go to Wembley.
  12. Last time they ensured there was tickets for each ballot because it was too difficult to split supporters into a handful of pots. Hence why they decided to introduce the Cup scheme to help distribute and lighten the admin load. Sadly the outcome of the scheme means the likes of @AyeDubbleYoo who are members only but have managed to win or queue successfully for each home game are highly likely to miss out badly. Personally I would’ve made the Cup Scheme factor applicable if you’d attended ALL the home games not PARTIAL allowing them to pick and choose their attendance. At most allow for 1 exchange but not 2’s and 3’s etc. I’d of also had members above ST holders not in the cup scheme. To contradict myself the only good thing the way they have done it is less abuse of tickets as members could literally be anyone at times due to how simple it was to purchase them.
  13. Not sure why. It was clear if you read what was announced (just re posted). Was much better communicated this year as in 2023 they left many questions to be asked.

To me the happy medium is every ST holder and Member should have a Card that games get pre-loaded on to as the season progresses. Get rid the need for phones and wallets and email forwarding.
  15. A reminder for those in doubt… HOW TO BUY Tickets will be sold online in priority periods based on specific criteria (details follow below) and supporters will be allocated to a designated 'pot' in line with their eligibility. Only one ticket per supporter can be purchased. Eligible supporters in Pots 1-3 will receive an email from the club by 6pm on Monday, 10th February to advise which pot they are in. Those supporters in Pot 4 will receive an email once it is confirmed tickets will be available to purchase. Supporters in Pot 5 will receive an email if any tickets remain after the Pot 4 ballot closes. Supporters in Pot 6 will receive an email should any tickets remain after Pot 5 ballot closes. It is the responsibility of each supporter to ensure their contact details are correct in their online ticketing account. During their relevant priority period, supporters will be directed to purchase (or to enter a ballot depending on ticket availability in their allocated pot) online at book.newcastleunited.com. Please note that sales for general admission tickets cannot be conducted in person or over the phone. The price categories will be sold on a first-come-first-served basis in each pot, subject to availability. Disabled supporters who require additional support during their relevant eligibility period can purchase tickets online or by contacting the Box Office, during office hours, on 0344 372 1892, subject to availability. Full details on tickets for disabled supporters are included below. PRIORITY PERIODS Ticket sales will be split into separate priority periods based on eligibility criteria automatically contained within your club ticketing account. The priority periods take into consideration fans enrolled in the Carabao Cup Scheme and ticket usage (e.g. the number of times the named season ticket holder attended each Carabao Cup fixture and did not forward the ticket to another supporter or list their ticket for resale). The six Carabao Cup fixtures included within the criteria are Nottingham Forest away, all Carabao Cup home games against AFC Wimbledon, Chelsea and Brentford, and both legs of the semi-final against Arsenal. Pot 1: Seat selection opens on Wednesday, 12th February at 12 noon to season ticket holders enrolled on the cup scheme who attended at least five Carabao Cup matches. Pot 2: Seat selection opens Thursday, 13th February at 12 noon to season ticket holders enrolled within the cup scheme who attended four Carabao Cup matches. Pot 3: Seat Selection opens Friday, 14th February at 12 noon to season ticket holders enrolled within the cup Scheme who attended three Carabao Cup matches. The purchasing window for Pots 1-3 closes on Sunday, 15th February at 12 noon. Subject to tickets still being available, a ballot will open for Pot 4. Pot 4*: Ballot for season ticket holders enrolled in the Cup Scheme that have attended two Carabao Cup matches. Ballot opens on Monday, 17th February at 12 noon. The ballot will close at 12 noon on Tuesday, 18th February. Those fans that are successful in the ballot will be emailed by 5pm on Tuesday, 18th February. Seat selection opens at 12 noon on Wednesday, 19th February and closes at 12 noon on Thursday, 20th February. Subject to tickets still being available, a ballot will open for Pot 5. Pot 5*: Ballot for season ticket holders enrolled in the Cup Scheme that attended one Carabao Cup match. Ballot opens on Thursday, 20th February at 12 noon. The ballot will close at 12 noon on Friday, 21st February. Those fans that are successful in the ballot will be emailed by 5pm on Friday, 21st February. Seat selection opens at 12 noon on Saturday, 22nd February and closes at 12 noon on Sunday, 23rd February. Subject to tickets still being available, a ballot will open for Pot 6. Pot 6*: Ballot opens for season ticket holders enrolled in the Cup Scheme that did not attend a match, season ticket holders not enrolled in the Cup Scheme and Mags/Mags+ Members that entered a ballot and/or purchased a ticket for a home Carabao Cup match. Ballot opens on Monday, 24th February at 12 noon. The ballot will close at 12 noon on Tuesday, 25th February. Those fans that are successful in the ballot will be emailed by 5pm on Tuesday, 25th February. Seat selection opens at 12 noon on Wednesday, 26th February and closes at 12 noon on Thursday, 27th February. *Ballot takes places subject to tickets being available Entering a ballot does not guarantee a ticket and successful applicants will be notified by the relevant times and dates stated above. Supporters should check ballot process carefully before entering. This will be included in email communications. SITTING TOGETHER Fans who wish to sit together must have linked their online ticketing accounts at book.newcastleunited.com in advance using 'friends and family'. A maximum of SIX tickets can be purchased per transaction and all supporters must have the same required level of eligibility and select the same ticket price band for the transaction to be processed. Travel Groups are not available for this match.
  16. Wasn’t particularly directed at you. Just seeing a lot of discussion regarding how it worked in 2023. Completely different circumstances. Was to me. What is your question and I’ll try to help?
  17. Only if Pot 4 demand satisfied. People need to stop comparing this year to 2023. How they did it in 2023 is irrelevant. There is a cup scheme in place. Read the text from the Club and it was crystal clear. In short Pot 1-3 will get to select seats. Pot 4 ballot for leftover. Then if need be 5 then 6.

Will watch him more closely next time as so far he’s never caught my eye. Whats his strengths?

    Match Atmosphere

80’s was fun but had a bit of an ugly side to it to. 90’s- early 00’s probably peak for me.
  20. I don’t think they can afford to. Maybe next PSR cycle.

    James Trafford

Definitely think he’d be a great signing. A happy medium between Pope and Dubs with room to improve. I’d like to think he’d be behind an equally strong defence also.
