It’s a tricky balance. You want players bedded in but 2 friendlies and 3 league games before window closes you could pick up a big key injury so do you leave it until last few days.

That was my first thought ? ?

Behind the goal. Great seats. Maybe a little too close to Adam P ? -
Hope he enjoys the game ?

Honestly thought we were down after that game. Had all the hallmarks of a relegation season. Then kept looking at the other results and we never got cut adrift.

No chance EH could work his magic? ?

Rose & Crown is good friendly atmosphere and under £3 a pint for most things iirc. I’m a wine drinker so usually just buy a bottle for circa £12 but pretty sure John Smiths etc is £2.50-80ish.
-
Good shout ? The Carrick comparisons I see also. Early days but no way EH is buying another centre midfielder this window. Especially with budget tight.

Was around 27-29k mark iirc as remember knocking around 20+k off the capacity. Think we got the figures from police safety officer as they knew the true figure not tickets sold figure the club put out.

I spent 2 full evenings going round every bar in Gateshead & Newcastle (central) handing out flyers and posters prior to Spurs boycott explaining the plan for fans to watch in pub and maybe offer drinks deals if they wish and to get it out on their own social media etc and in turn we would publicise them on ours etc. The Strawberry (manager that evening) didn’t want anything to do with going against the club and didn’t want to help in any way. Sticks in me a bit as they probably benefitted the most when 25k stayed away.

Totally agree. Heard the stuff in the media and was at the Q&A in Philadelphia and the topic was raised and cleverly answered leaving the loudest in the gathering thinking we were staying at SJP but I read it completely differently. The feasibility study will take 12 months and wouldn’t be surprised then that they opt for a new stadium if the demand is as great as we think. SJP will struggle to be able to hold major footballing and sporting events and hi-tech music events which is the future wether people like it or not.

Wouldn’t mind it hurting some of the pubs that wouldn’t help out during the MA boycott in particular the Spurs boycott. The Strawberry can get fcuked as far as I’m concerned ?
-
Probably sharing media teams ?

Arrived in Philadelphia. First stop Fado’s. Within minutes got a friendly wave hug and a peck off a very glowing TF Charlotte ? Who’s going to the fan event before the Tailgate party? ? #We move on together ?? -
Hall… “Adding more smoke to the fire is his recent social media activity where he had started following NUFC and some of our players. He is also represented by Wasserman; the same agency that look after Eddie Howe, Harvey Barnes and Tino Livramento. No smoke without fire!?”

Like it or loathe it. Surely that’s what football is all about ??♂️

At a guess probably £33m+5m add ons. Remember a few weeks ago loads on here claiming he’s worth £60m+ ? Trust the process…

Yeah that pass Schar does I can imagine him getting in on those a treat.

Will be interesting to see him play properly as from what I’ve seen of him he looks one footed. Watching his highlights his right is his foot and he can vary what he does with it when shooting whereas on his left he just seems to strike it as hard as he can. As I’ve said before not as obvious as Miggy is but he clearly has a far stronger side from what I’ve seen.
