They wheeled and dealed because they got the PSR gift horse of £100m for Grealish and their ladies team was in the WSL. The brains you talk about leaving seemed to be generally considered the ones who got us into a PSR black hole You are having a bad week. So are NUFC. Still a whole 2nd half of the season to play for. Things can change quickly in football. Hopefully the form of some of our players does and our defensive injuries clear up and see what is available in the January market.

You didn’t loan players hoping to qualify for UCL and despite initial positive impact they didn’t get you over the line in the Cup Semis. Didn’t win the UCL and most importantly for the club to progress on a higher projectory that they did this summer leaving a few players wanting to leave (Martinez…Watkins both unhappy?) didn’t get you top 5? If that is all wrong I’m all ears

Never seen Palace in the UCL or multiple semi finals. No slight against Palace who I agree are a very good team and the club have recently achieved great things also. Just let’s not forget what we’ve achieved also and from what base point. It’s clear from your other posts you are having a wobble but don’t do it at the expense of dismissing what we’ve achieved in every competition since the owners took over. FA Cup the only one up for any debate as being under par yet look at the draws we got (Man City away) and the gut punch of VAR (Brighton). Shef Wed came at a bad point for us also but mistakes made that game with too many changes.

Yep because they failed to get over the line in the last game of the season and had to change course. Yes it’s very admirable and a season I’d be happy with but if you’ve followed my posts regarding Villa based on the feelings of a handful of friends who are Villa fans they gambled on finishing in UCL places after chucking away the easier route to the Cup Final and dropping some bankable home points in the UCL. The general feeling at the END of the season (which even you admitted it ended disappointingly ) was disappointment. I even caveated by saying it wasn’t a terrible season.

My point is 2yrs of absent ownership is a bit of an exaggeration but even if it were true we’ve still managed to achieve more than Villa have in those two years. To be clear I’m not knocking Villa at all. Always find it interesting to compare us both but whilst both ownerships have used different approaches to getting around PSR.

Is it just me or does he run in straight lines when carrying the ball? Probably not explaining myself very well. Like an old video game with a 8 position joystick 🕹️ 🤣 Once he sets off with ball he seems to just keep going in that direction. No switch of movement etc.

Maybe the answer is you are just allocated a block not an seat and its first come first served. Problem is those spending the money on the concourse won’t be rewarded. No easy answer.

How can you replace them? Set age limits? Fans who have done the hard yards eventually age. Probably the reason we are at a certain point at every ground home and away since the introduction of the Premiership/PremierLeague and the rebirth of attending football. Kids then are now in their 40/50/60’s.
