My unwavering support for JM probably well documented on here. EH the perfect manager for him. Give him simple instructions and he will follow out the game plan. The best on the run crosser of the ball in the club with his ability to arch his delivery. One of the fastest if not the fastest player we have over first few yards and if ahead of a defender rarely being caught either. Underrated vision with the pass to Isak Vs Sheffield Utd in his locker. If you want aggression he’s never going to be your guy. If you want him to win aerial duals or 50/50’s he’s never going to be your guy. Against the crème de la crème will he struggle? Yes… but for the majority of the season as a squad player he’s ideal both on and off the pitch.

Just get frustrated that people are thinking this will a football stadium only when it won’t be. The attendances for some alternative venues could be massive if we built the Wembley of the TRUE north. Like @AyeDubbleYoo points out. We aren’t even that good yet. We haven’t even come close to breaking the transfer record or anything like that yet. This stadium is for the next 25 years not 2 and half years…

No like I said they can keep increasing current prices… Yes there are other areas of growth but no point capping the obvious one immediately and the one thats the biggest to the fan also. What kept us in the conversation for many years was the fact we always had the 2nd biggest stadium in the English football. Was a great pull for signing players also never mind growth. Now we sit behind Man Utd Man City Arsenal Liverpool Spurs. Not long before we are behind Villa and probably Everton. Forrest looking like moving to 50k also. Build a 80+k stadium with a full closing roof. Even add possible option to lower roof a tier for certain games if need be reducing capacity to 65k. Price it sensibly and if built people will come.

Very surprised you think 65k is enough. You’d be basically back at square one once built so no room for growth at all without raising ticket prices year in year out.

Let me try and explain once more why I’d prefer the Wenger law… It’s like a close boxing fight currently where no one really knows for sure who has won and even when the scorecards are revealed and two judges have it 6-4 and another 4-6. There is a massive sense of unresolvement after the decision amongst players managers pundits and fans. With the Wenger rule it be like a 9-1 boxing fight on all 3 scorecards. There’d be that 1 round to base an argument on but the fact the other 9 rounds went the other way everyone has a reasonable sense of acceptance of the decision. Give it a try and let’s get back to sensible goals being allowed. After two seasons review it if you think its had a negative effect but it was the rule in the 80’s/90’s when I was watching football and I thought the game was much the better for it. Bruno only signed his contract a few month ago. You’ll never stop speculation unfortunately. Too much of the industry depends on it and too many idiots willing to feed it the oxygen.

Tonali was £52m so thought less than what Wolves got for Neves from Saudi which we’d need to of got close to matching. Anyway you get my point. Exactly yet if Man City were selling him they could almost do what they do with Cole Palmer and many of their other player sales and sell at a price that gets the deal done quick hence to them they’d take a lower fee. We’ve yet to win a competitive football game since Bruno became a starter without him in the team if memory serves me correctly. So value to us is nine figures. Anyway he’s not going anywhere so not worth worrying about.

The value is the loss to the selling club so always hard to judge. For argument sake Man City selling Bruno would probably fetch £60-80m. The loss to us is £100-120m for exactly the same player due to bigger impact. Neves was a good player and important for Wolves but when we were linked with him as much as I liked many of his attributes I didn’t see the value in the prices being quoted and thought you’d get younger and quicker for less which we ended up finding hopefully (Tonali).

I’ll confirm before Saturday what time I can get a pitch open for warm up but usually 9.30ish onwards. If you’ve a decent ball bring it if able to. Make sure you ALL have the colour tops you need to cover BOTH games…

Looking back on his fantastic debut it’s easy to forget how Bruno looked in that setup. Had a disappointing game despite the 5-1 win. Cant wait like everyone to have Tonali back asap but really intrigued how EH gets the midfield to work with him and Bruno in it as on paper the potential is fantastic but as Chelsea have found out finding the right blend isn’t easy and it’s arguable they’ve looked better with Enzo injured.
