Eze (although I’m in the minority and not a massive fan either despite ability) is available for £60m. Elanga for £40-45m fair. £45+£5m would be the sensible upper limit you’d like to think.

Not wanting to argue with what you are saying. However iirc when we signed Robert I think he had either a goal or assist in each of his first 12-14+ games or thereabouts. That plateaued admittedly somewhat but it’s a reminder what a great impact Robert had on the team (along with Bellamy of course).

It depends. Eyes can deceive sometimes. I’m sure many on here or in fanbase in general fawn over Ginola rather than Robert as easier on the eye. However I’d have Robert over Ginola everyday of the week and I think his figures would back that up.

Maybe what could be brought in to balance the clusterf@@k that is PSR is a limit of how many transfers a club can make per season. Say unlimited sales but maximum of 4-5 purchases.

Was just thinking last night and have a feeling you’d know the answer… Do you reckon the Chelsea’s idea with these 7 + year deals for young players the plan is if they work out and stay at the club for 5 years they are still at a good age to then sell in the 6th year at pure profit whilst having 2yrs minimum left on contract and therefore still hopefully get a decent chunk of money back due to fees always slowly rising with inflation? I dare it would it apply if they just loan them out for 5 years for fees to various club also. The only risk is demotivation or career ending injury early into contract. The upside is less power for the agent to renegotiate and what I stated above.

He never said that once. He said along the lines of we were vulnerable last year and clubs took advantage (Brighton, Forest). We are not vulnerable this year and might be in a position to do that to other clubs but wasn’t sure. If you make things up and get disappointed you only have yourself to blame.

Wouldn’t take what EH says on transfers at face value. Even if you did he never said we WOULD sign someone in June. Opportunities might arise in the last couple of days of June nothing more. He said he’d IDEALLY like a couple in in time for 7th July. Long way to go for both in transfer window terms.

Is he any good physically? Is he fast? Only seen clips. Looks technically very good but needs the other two elements.
