    Alan Pardew

I felt sorry for him - even if he has been in negotiation for weeks who in their right mind would say that or turn the job down? and being thrown to the lions like that was poor-its those snidey bastards upstairs that reek of sh*t. I wasn't gonna go saturday but f**k it
  2. At least you're not phil brown - but thats as good as it gets

If you accept their reasons for getting rid of CH and they appear to be based on a lack of confidence in his managerial rather than coaching abilities- then by applying those same principles how does pardew become the man for the job. Its a debatable issue whether Hughtons sacking was right or wrong but having made that decision you must surely have a replacement who has a proven record of excellence.
  4. Its a fine business plan, one which is used throughtout the retail sector, however, if a quality manager has the choice between that pay offer or a nice fat 5 year contract with safety nets built in which one do you think he will choose? - trouble is in the football management world this will only attract the desperate and feckless candidates
  5. Would be lovely - just hope the rumours of pardew being on a plane on the way here are wrong

Get yourself away to SOL then. No one forces you to support the Club. Why would I do that , idiot, when I have a season ticket for newcastle - I have as much right to be sick of this bollox as you have to be happy about it

Sick of being embarrassed of this club - sick of denying were a joke - sick of havin the piss extracted by other teams supporters about decisions that are made that I have no control over
  8. Sounds great but doesn't quite stack up with the rumour that they are old gambling buddies - jobs for the boys and then some bollox cover up story to make themselves credible

Its like damage limitation though - when its totally self inflicted - mental
  10. Mint - after they hounded o'neill out and expected better I hope he takes them down - deluded tbh

It would be a decision of blinding pointlessness and risk the future of the club - you aren't even replacing like for like - its bordering on criminal incompetence - therefore a dead cert I suppose

I just can't see how Pardew is a viable option - he has an ego and would not want his (already dodgy) reputation decimated by acting as ashleys patsy. He has nothing to offer and has never managed a club as big as us. just can't see it. CH was the cheapest option if it didn't matter about relegation and as far as being able to stop decka and mike selling the players from under him I don't think they would have hesitated.
  13. Because 5Live bores me and I'm not a big music fan. It's just something to have on in the car while I drive home. FWIW they do have some decent pundits on and Durham does what he does very well, he had me shouting at the radio earlier like a f***ing lunatic, but other times I do nothing but laugh. I didn't think he was too bad today but that mark saggers!!! jesus that bloke hates us and is an utter w**kr
  14. Not more route one stuff. I saw that -mint translation hehe
  15. What? Its a translation of the statement from the ajax site
  16. Official site : Ajax and Martin jol have at the request of jol by common accord, about the mutual contract of employment to terminate with immediate effect. From the talks in which general Director Rik van den arc over the past few weeks and days with jol claimed, was increasingly clear that jol insufficient basis for cooperation with Ajax continue successfully. Martin jol (54) started on July 1, 2009 as hoofdtrainer by Ajax.
  17. Unfinished business in the prem - big enough club for him - would love it
  18. The Tottenham connection shouts Hoddle - but you have to say whats the point unless it is someone good - blows the Ashley/profit from relegation conspiracy out of the water like.
  19. I would hope the Nolan and Barton rumour is untrue but when you look back over the last few weeks I suppose something maybe didn't smell right - shocking decision which elevates us back to the circus act/laughing stock we thought we had moved on from
  20. He makes good runs but his problems begin when the ball arrives - either gets bullied off it or poor technique
  21. Shola isn't fit and should not be playing - simple as that- some players can get by with niggles some can't,he just can't and he was non existant yesterday. Jonas is a bigger worry because he clearly couldn't be arsed and at times plainly refused to track back or drive forward with the ball. Its worrying that this malaise is beginning to creep in and the injection of some fresh blood is vital. couple of loans or one buy one loan would be nice and on yesterdays performance SWP or Krancjaer could make all the difference.

    Sol Campbell

Looked unbalanced and stiff to me -its a pity you couldn't transplant his brain into Taylors head - willo - colo is looking the best bet at the moment
  23. I would rather take a punt on Wheater who would cost a lot less and provide a comparable level of output
  24. Don't know what makes Shola undroppable even when injured - doing him or the team no favours - was like playing with ten men for 45 mins - set up too deep and didn't press the ball high enough - Gutierrez was just plain lazy - sol looked like a fifty year old trying to dance - carroll too greedy
