'kids' I'm assuming?

Aye Groundhog, when I zoom in I can see matching shorts...

As long as she keeps his balls emptied and his focus on the pitch.

Someone said the other day João Pedro had won most of the penalties he scored, which goes some way to boosting his goal contributions if not counting the goals themselves.
-
Don't think Anderson would have taken off like he has had he stayed here like. Too much in Bruno's shadow. Like with Wood, Forrest have to take a lot of credit for identifying players we weren't getting the most from and transforming them. One of the rare occasions I'm actually glad we sold a player who turns out to be class. It's nice to see him doing well.

Pretty interesting graphic given we seemed to be less intense this season.
-
It fits with how we originally bid for Maddison too, granted that was with Trippier at RB. It always seemed an odd bid, given his lack of physicality, but it showed we were possibly willing to play with a playmaker on the wing. Joelinton too isn't your traditional winger but Howe's played him RW.

Aye I'd take Joao Pedro over Delap every day like. Cunha was the one for me, but João Pedro has a lot of the same qualities and is probably stronger. He scored 20 from 40 in all comps last season (not just gone), he has another level to go up and would be more than capable of filling in for Isak.

Labourers sprint 8 miles a shift as well which really highlights the problem.

It's not an original opinion, but Lee Dixon is the worst person in football like.

If Michael Owen was a football club.

The Managerial Merry Go Round™ - Frank in at Tottenham
Hanshithispantz replied to cp40's topic in Football
Frank's about the ideal appointment for them for us imo. Don't think he has enough to make them a consistent force but he'll pick points off our champions league rivals. -
Said he'd volley Richarlison if he did his celebration in front of him iirc EDIT: Was for his keeper up show boating. Not a patch on Grealish's comments although he was smashed.
-
I agree, but Isak was unfit for decent spells last season, Joelinton too, and Bruno playing almost every minute means he is going to burn out. We force lower half sides into making mistakes and gatecrashing the box as they don't have the quality to play through us. We used to struggle a lot more against sides who could play through us. Injuries and fitness issues forced us to adapt but I imagine Howe still wants to return back to what we're good at.
-
But even if we don't change from 4-3-3 Howe has switched around how we attack loads. Joelinton/Willock dovetailing for example. More bodies in midfield and attack will mean we can manage our minutes better. I don't think we have much issues creating chances when we're fit.
-
I mean you would imagine we'll be signing 4-5 players this window. Elanga alone would obviously be a poor window.
-
They're ridiculous like, free reign to sign the windows top picks and then ruin their careers, every window We are what's wrong with football though
-
'In the early days' they'd just taken over their first football club, they will have asked stupid questions. Agents were 'astounded' by it? Howay man, it's sensationalism. I don't know why Emery didn't come but you don't botch your way to scouting and recruiting a manager like Howe, after Emery.
-
It's clearly sensationalist bollocks and in hindsight it's absolutely laughable to suggest they didn't have a clue what they were doing.
-
That was from 4 days before Howe signed, and would have been around the time Emery knocked us back.
-
Ter Stegen would be a Trippier like signing where we would all experience what it's like to actually have an elite player in a position we never have.
-
I'd only consider it if they offered their entire academy AND Oscar Bobb.
-
Most of these technical players don't have anywhere near the output of these pace merchants though and when they do they cost like £100m. Just adding a RW like Maddison or Lee Kang In won't have us tearing apart a Moysey defence every time alone. Mbuemo looked perfect as he's great in transitions, can play up top, and has bags of technical ability, but he knows that so is holding out for absurd wages.
