  1. I don't know Joey, like I say these questions are pointless gotcha attempts. With back to back games in a week playing the same squad is obviously going to lead to fatigue. In hindsight I'd have started Gordon, Miley and Krafth today, but my point isn't to say he got any single game wrong, it's that we have the squad to rotate better than we have done this week. Villa were just firing straight balls down the pitch which we couldn't get near all first half, we looked miles off it all game imo.
  2. I mean sometime in the last 3 it seems. You're doing that thing again when you just make shit up. Longstaff over any of our midfield 3 is obviously a massive downgrade, don't think I've ever suggested otherwise. To try and get to the bottom of this, did you think we looked tired today, and were suffering from fatigue?
  3. Nah that's just you making shit up again. We had Miley, Krafth, Gordon, Willock and Longstaff on the bench. All are more than capable of putting performances in in the league. The former 3 are genuinely good players I'd trust in any game and no indication they're out if form. Longstaff and Willock have their moments. I'm not saying we should have started either of them, I'm pointing out that our bench isn't full of literal dross like us being made out. Are you on cowwies?
  4. fucking hell you're still not getting it. We have a few games a season where we're so far off it physically and our lack of rotation compounds it. We can use our squad better, identify when players need resting and rotate better. I'm not trying to say I would have picked a better lineup than Tindall. If your reply is "LOOLZAS WUD U PLAY L8NGSTAFF OVER TONSLI!!!?!!!" then I'm afraid I'll need to tap out.
  5. Maybe it would have been? Not sure how this is relevant to anything I've said like. Again, none of this has anything to do with what I've said. Again, who is saying this? He's one of 3 midfielders on the bench who could have started, and is more than capable of doing well, but he's likely behind Willock and Miley.
  6. You being weird because you're being proper smug and asking pointless questions as if i'm bed wetting "Why not say before the match" howay man, it's just completely pointless nonsense. I have no idea what the fitness levels of the squad are, it's pretty obvious after that though that more than a few were 'not good' and we need to get better at managing it. Between Willock, Miley, Longstaff, Krafth, Osula, Gordon we have more than enough to rotate.
  7. Why are you being proper weird? We were clearly knackered and we have players who are more than good enough to fill in for a game. To humour you though, Krafth RB, Gordon RW, Miley or Longstaff in for one of the midfield 3.
  8. Krafth can cover RB and RCB, Miley, Willock and Longstaff can cover CM, Gordon and Osula can cover the wings? Like @The Butcher says, whoever is tired give them a rest? We obviously couldn't cover the ground needed as Villa were finding holes all over the pitch.
  9. I mean it is like, the club measure player fitness, we need to be rotating more.
  10. We've been dreadful man. It's fine, we've been playing the same squad with a tight fixture list, but 4-1 is fair and we'll hopefully be getting Howe back sooner than later.
  11. We have these performances every now and then, luckily we have Ipswich next so the perfect side to get it out of the system. Leggy and holes all over the pitch, even Martinez was cutting us open from his own box there was that much space
  12. Took about 3 deflections Deserved though, we need to be able to rotate better. 4-1
  13. Every ball down the middle is devastating us like
  14. He would have challenged Pope on the edge of the box I think.
  15. Feels odd complaining about a ref who should have sent Schar off, but he's just so unbelievably bad.
  16. Must be nice having a keeper that can just ping balls in the final 3rd
  17. Villa getting the ball up the pitch far too easily
