  1. Howe's RCM and LCM can essentially just be busy boddies, Almiron could deffinitely play there if needed imo. Whether Anderson is good enough to play anywhere in the Premiershio is yet to be seen though.
  2. It's driven by data. Forget about what it looked like to the naked eye, his stats were very good, which is great news.
  3. We get it man beth you're proper old school 'n that you can pack it in now
  4. Rember seeing this. Stats alone don't tell the full story, but it shows you how much he was involved. 5.5 is obviously mental either way
  5. I'd deffinitely prefer Howe over Potter like. They'd probably prefer the opposite. Both would be right too, which tells you all you need to know really
  6. All of this should be very easy for a sports journalist to find as well
  7. Giving Bruno a 7 is absolutely comical like Even more so nowadays given the ease we can all access match data. We pinned Forest in for 90 minutes becuase every player on the pitch grafted their bollocks off, moved well and were great in possession. Trippier was involved loads too. 5.5 is insane.
  8. Brighton will likely force us to play on the counter which probably suits us tbh, it was great dominating a game but Maxi, Almiron, Willock and Wilson are probably more dangerous on the break.
  9. It's his job man How is it any different to a Sky News reporter doing the same thing?
  10. Why people were clamouring for these to win the title ahead of Liverpool is beyond me like Not that I'm Liverpool's number one fan or out, but the one-sided vitriol towards them over Manchester City is canny suspicious.
  11. Tyler is such a mawkish bellend like.
  12. Just the 15% possession so far for West Ham
  13. Missed the Man Utd game, what's the summary?
  14. His passes between the lines are actually really good as well, I rarely saw it from him last year.
  15. Just him cutting inside taking a couple of defenders tracking him out of play can open a lot of space up, we saw it against Bilbao for the goal, and he was doing it yesterday. It's exciting watching him repeatedly rince a fullback but he absolutely needs (needed) neutering like. He'll still get opportunities to score the odd wondergoal.
  16. I remember one good performance from him in the Prem (Chelsea). Forrest look like they could do massively with an energetic DM like.
  17. I cannot think of a cleaner striker of the ball from range in our squad tbh?
  18. They've probably been playing great football for most of last year, and then you see teams like Brentford occasionally coming up and smashing Chelsea 4-1 at Stamford Bridge It's fair enough for them to be optimistic of the same kind of impact like, especially as most clearly haven't watched too much of the Premiership (I never either when we were down there), a year ago they would have probably played us off the park in this same fixture
  19. Aye, I love Rafa but football has moved on a lot since then like He's clearly no longer an elite manager, and as much as I appreciate having him here I'm glad he was never in contention to come back.
  20. Good commentary here (outside of NUFC TV). I probably need to do something else on my Saturday morning now instead of consuming NUFC v NFFC content I'm much more productive when we lose.
  21. https://www.forestforum.co.uk/index.php?threads/official-premier-league-matchday-thread-1-newcastle-vs-forest-6-8-22-1500h.50574/page-44 They seem sound, after the initial mental optimism
  22. I think they'll do alright once they adjust a bit. We we're probably the worst place to come to at the minute (outside of the obvious; Anfield, Etihad, Tottenham Hotspur Stadium). A team who are not going to be particularly great on the ball at this level (yet anyway) and used to playing out from the back, are going to be like a deer in the headlights against relentless off the ball pressure. They made a load of unforced errors too. Think the plan was probably for them to play a 3-4-3 and be in the game more but they dropped to 5 at the back pretty quickly. Steve Cooper seems a good, modern manager, I think he'll learn quick.
