  1. Run Josh into the ground and switch him with Jacob at half time for a free sub
  2. We need to thank the FA for stopping us doing a Portsmouth.
  3. Without his injuries I don't think there would be talk of Haaland getting anywhere near him tbh, there would be no debate between him and Henry either. It's a shame, although he adapted brilliantly still.
  4. Shearer's best days started at Blackburn and he was outrageous for half a decade.
  5. It's obviously the number for a horse.
  6. Whether slowed down or not he catches him on the ankle with his studs a good foot away from the ball, it's a great call by Oliver tbh, the problem is that if he'd given him a yellow nobody would be complaining It's an 'orange card' as they get missed all the time and they are irritating when they're given to your players, Bruno got a similar one against Southampton. An Everton player against us in that game Iwobi got their winner with 10 men too.
  7. I thought it was harsh at first but he's miles away from the ball. Doesn't really matter if it's clumsy or intentional, red is the right decision, although I think players get off with that more often than not.
  8. His brain is literal mush so probably did aye
  9. Southampton as a team react to things hillariously slow.
  10. This co-com legitimately doesn't know what a foul is He thinks you have to actually stamp on a player, never heard anything like it. Genuinely amazed by that like, he wouldn't shut up saying wrong things.
  11. Cunha would be near the top of me list as I want a hard working player with flair who can put up numbers. As good as Gordon is he's a bit 'boring', and someone like Elanga would be the same even if we squeeze some output from him. Players like Rayan Cherki don't interest me as I know how they always end up. Honestly Cunha's perfect, he could knife a pensioner and I'd take him.
  12. Trippier was riding lasses in his wifes bed and if it wasn't for his dip in form he'd still be a hero.
  13. How long had it been when he knocked his first in for us though? Sure it was a few year. His ratio dropped off but he's hit the woodwork atleast twice, and I cannot remember the last time he took one in that good of a position either. Been very few free kicks scored in the league this season all round thinking about it.
  14. Petition to rename this The Joelinton Law.
  15. And to add, it is massively impressive how fit Bournemouth still were like. I don't think most teams in the league would have had the energy and desire they showed. Just shit luck we landed against them instead of a team who might have given us bit more 'respect'.
  16. I still don't undersrand how people don't think a 3.5 day rest is going to be better than a 2.5 day rest like https://sems-journal.ch/3439#:~:text=Between 2 and 3 days,et al.%2C 1982). Like I said yesterday, even a later kickoff could have helped. It's not just fitness levels either, you have basically no room to prepare with such a small window between matches, both mentally and physically. In hindsight we should probably have just parked the bus and tried to hit them on the break, they were so far ahead of us it was hard to watch.
  17. Aye, against a similar side who want to run you off the park the extra rest is massive. Even a later kick-off would help. Not to take anything away from them like, even fully fit we'd struggle against their press.
  18. West Ham and Brighton was massively annoying as they were absolutely shite Today was just a day where the opposition are playing out of their skin. We should know more than anyone since Howe has been here what a 'lesser' side can do when they put the work in off the ball.
  19. Iraola going to a team like Spurs would be annoying like, hopefully stays at Bournemouth.
  20. Extra day rest and no league cup. It seems like we have a bigger squad but Howe's infamously not been changing it as our subs have been making us worse.
  21. In the same way teams should have been beating us when Howe took over and made us a nightmare to play against? Look at Bournemouth's results especially away from home recently, they're a horrible side to play against.
  22. Some blue balls will be getting emptied the neet.
