Must be nice being allowed to spend your money like.

I get wanting to take a chance on Man City cast offs, but did he show much in the Prem last season to suggest he'd be the solution to our RW? Genuine question as I never seen much of him. Cole Palmer never got a chance in the league until he moved away from City, and it didn't take him long to show his quality.

Agent Howe will oversee another Bournemouth result. -
On both feet too, he was getting stick for a few misses on his left but they were still struck really clean
-
Imagine being one of them blokes who wanks themselves to sleep over Declan Rice when you've got this cunt in your bed?

He's our 3rd choice LCB and 3rd choice LB. It makes sense keeping him unless he's replaced. He hasn't settled in well but there's no reason to shit ourselves and sell him for under market value, leaving us needing another defender. -
Chris Wood (now playing for Nottingham Forest)

Yeah his finishing was absolutely shite and he was sluggish challenging for the ball in the box which made people assume he was falling to bits. Howe used him well, he improved us a team and the stick the transfer gets is absolutely baffling, but I don't think service was the issue with his goal record here. -
Possibly the greatest substitution you'll ever see
-
I'm explaining myself poorly here and it reads harsher on Rice than it needs to be. Rice is a great player, it's his price and their spendin in general that's the issue. They seem to have fucked their squad up during a time they could have spent wisely and kicked on.
-
He hasn't though, they were a much better team without him. Arsenal a couple seasons ago looked generally brilliant. I'm not saying that's his fault, but it's a consequence of what they did in the market and that includes buying Rice for £100m. Bruno and Tonali are not worth that either, it's only a handful of clubs who can afford to pay it, a team like Villa would be insane to spend that on either of them for example.
-
To expand on this, Arsenal thought they were pretty much a settled team, and like City were in the state of being able to improve their squad with huge buys every year. They weren't and they should have spent that £100m better.
-
They've overpaid because he hasn't improved them. I don't think his price was wrong in that market, it was just a bad buy in combination with what else they were doing.
-
I think Tonali will be a better player too. Bruno's a different kind of midfielder, has some obvious weaknesses, and isn't as 'complete', but Tonali can pretty much be directly compared. If offered now I wouldn't swap either for him.
-
It's funny because in that infamous draw which broke Arteta, where were were pressing teams off the park, went to the Emirates and had to resort to a low block and shithousing within 5 minutes as they played through us with ease. That Arsenal seems to have just disappeared. Arteta's clearly a good manager, but he's fucked something major up in the past year or so.
-
The James Ward-Prowse comment was a jibe at the fact Rice's most import quality has become his ability to whip a lethal ball in. Like I said he's a quality midfielder He hasn't improved Arsenal though, not that he personally would have been a bad buy in isolation but he was part of them spunking a load of money to go backwards.
-
Aye he's a good player, the fee was absurd and it's funny he's now a glorified set piece specialist because Arteta apparently cannot set a team up without Saka in it.
-
We got Bruno and Tonali for not much more than they paid for Rice Rice is obviously quality player, but they could have signed James Ward-Prowse and probably have picked up more points this season.
-
This might be the football vs business side Howe is talking about. The business side is to scream at Dubs and call him a paedophile because he's asked for a raise, the football side is to give him a few grand to keep him sweet and look amicable to the rest of the squad, then go on and win the league.
-
Probably not best pleased the FA forced him to swap him for Elliott Anderson

And it's not even close.

Forgit about that one, mental on his wrong foot, goes into the top with Martins'

Robert's were usually further out but hit with an arced trajectory, I may be forgetting a proper stinger from him though. I just love strikes where the ball seens to barely move in the air and arrows past the keeper, Isak's is probably the best example as you can see the ball barely turning on it's axis once it was hit.
-
It's on par with Isak (Liverpool) and Ben Arfa (Everton), only beaten by Martins (Spurs) imo, for strikes on the past 20 year that I can remember. Such a shame it was 'wasted' against Bromley, no keeper in the worpd saves it
