It would be fair enough if it was carried out across the board but it isn't, which is why I find all of this more ammusing than anything else. Not the Journalist getting abuse by Saudis like, as with others I cannot see how he's done anything at all wrong. All we can do is disassociate ourselves from nonsense like that which I'm sure most Newcast fans will.
-
Don't think anyone has ever said he'll be a goal machine like. Our squad is terrible and there's value in physical and/or energetic players who can hastle the opposition. The same reason people believe Almiron will be useful.
-
Don't think we need to be too drastic personally like, I think we'll see something like this (rotating players depending on performances) and assess where we're at in January. I would assume a right back, CDM, AM and a winger would be a priority but some might surprise us. t

Basically seems like an attack minded Rafa.
-
That's what I thought but the more I read of him he seems to legitimately be the long term solution. He's football mad, he'll have learned a lot with his time at Bournemouth. Forward thinking and will keep up with contemporary ideas in the game.
-
It's mad how I've went from being non plussed to essentially believing he's the second coming of Christ over the course of a few days. Feel a bit silly tbh, he seems a perfect fit.

I want the team to be at their best physically and mentally, not punished and 'shown how it is'.
-
Aye it's all completely irrelevant tbf like

9am is an acceptable time like. Dragging players in at 6:30 would give them a legitimate reason to be fucked off

Any manager should be aiming for 6 points from Palace and Brighton. That's not delusional Parking the bus against Chelsea is forgivable. Coming out with 2 points from 3 games having actually given it a go is different to fluking 2 points after just lying down and letting them humiliate you.
-
2 points is a horrible return from those games like. You would expect 3 minimum but would be aiming for atleast 7. I'm not saying even Howe would have gotten that but he would have tried for it. Graeme Jones tried for 3 points (3 draws), it's completely inexcusable regardless of whether or not he's a manager. He took the job on then sent us out to park the bus at Palace and Brighton This doesn't automatically mean he's a bad coach but it isn't the best advert in the world for keeping him on and I'm certainly not thankful for his input.
-
Bruce not being in charge has nothing to do with Jones. His 3 games with the squad have left us in no better state than if Bruce was here. We're ij a better state now because Howe is probably in. Not because Jones had the team playing like cowards. I don't even know what you're getting at with this?
-
You said compare where we are now to another 3 weeks of Bruce? How are any of the possitives of this from Jones? He took over and did shite. I don't blame him for being a shit manager I just found the way he went about it on matchday bizzare, there are no possitives to take away from it.
-
Be grateful jones was here? Why? He's done nowt

I'd give them a couple months under an actual manager first. Legitimately have no idea how good any of them are.
-
There's a lot a manager can do to get performances out of players like, I'm not too worried. Wouldn't be amazed if Hayden starts charging about the midfield hastling the opposition etc. Disruptive players like Joelinton and Almiron with better direction will hopefuly give is more bite when we lose the ball. We have defenders who can pass the ball out we just haven't been playing them etc.

Could make red cards also give away a penalty if a certain amount of time is left, like after 75th minute or something (regardless of where the offence occurred). Less of shit calls being a factor with VAR involved too. Fuck knows, completely agree it doesn't feel fair the way things are now though. -

Penalties are a bit of an arbitrary rule tbh Mad how you can lose a game for a defender accidentally handing the ball in line with the corner flag and 10 yards from goal with nobody arround. Or win a game because your keeper snaps someone through on goal outside the box. not saying it should be changed (I don't want it to be either) but it is weird and a bit archaic. -

Has Graeme Jones done Brighton's half time team talk? -

It may be an overreaction but it's just hard to believe anyone who thinks this line-up is acceptable holds much use in any kind of coaching role within the club. -

Aye but we're playing as if they have Salah and Mbappe either side of Lewandowski,
