People are talking like making the semis wasn’t a good achievement because of our easy route but we hardly had the squad to be able to say that imo. I don't think it can be underestimated just how poor our player pool is like, we're never going to be able to play like Belgium. From a footballing perspective I was massively impressed tbh. Defensively we're error prone but that's really the only criticism I can think of.

That was noticeable when Croatia switched play like. They were always in acres of space. Given 2 year I'd trust him to come up with another plan like.

We were fucked before Sterling went off like Croatia's defending was lifiting in the first half. Sterling never got a sniff in the 2nd. Rashford was utter garbage like.

Alli to me seems like one of those players who for some reason will just never replicate their club for their country, maybe I'm harsher on Alli as he would generally be considered the better player of the two but I much prefer Lingard like.
