He must have played about 5 minutes since then, I really don't get the "his performances reflected it" at all like. He was obviously a bit of a soft touch but the whole thing was really weird.

He's only 30 like, providing he keeps in shape he should be able to keep his current role for at least another couple of seasons like. I cannot see any reason he couldn't play all 38 games next season outside of injury and suspension. Merino will hopefully be better equipped next season too but Hayden can probably be replaced.

He definitely won one at the beginning of his upturn in form but not sure if he's won any since.
