It helps if you can do it with players who are better than what the opoosition have. As long as there's quality across the board we should be fine, which it looks like we'll have if we go up. Under previous managers we had players training with the club who at no point ever though they were getting on the pitch. Now every player knows they have a chance if they put the work in. I think everyone shares that opinion like He looked really poor in pre-season. He looks far more comfortable now but there's the odd moment, he prefers punching too which isn't that common over here.

Their power to put people in their place and completely immobilise them with the most basic of craic is amazing.

Why do people get so defensive when others say they have reservations with a player? I hate the random vitriol that gets spouted about players before they've even been given a chance, but I haven't seen that with Sels. People are concerned because he's had a few shaky moments, hopefully he's just bedding in.

Zaha's had plenty of top flight experience too, he isn't going to get much better. It's rare players do at that age*. Shearer pissed it as soon as he moved up a league. EDIT:*when they've had the experience Zaha has I mean.
