He's a winger who's job it is to get at his fullback, and he's capable of doing it against most fullbacks on his day. To suggest he's a flat-track bully because his 2 best goals have been scored against Premiership opposition outside of the top 4 is just strange.
If the player himself cannot judge it's going wide to have made such a daft decision you cannot expect the referee too. The rest of it is just a farce though.
Is it sad that I hope this is a genuine revelation from Pardew, and that before this week we'd never really focused on "creating more chances and moving more in the final third"?
I'd stick Gouffran up for a few like, he probably deserves a shot up front.
I'm not a massive fan of him like, certainly don't want him as anything other than back-up but instead he's playing every game on the fucking wing.
Getting HBA signed up to a permanent contract was supposedly one of the first things Pardew did when he became manager. Strange thing to do if he had doubts about him.
He probably thought his "bit of magic" would be enough to mask the fact that he hasn't got a clue how to use a player like him.
It probably would be if he'd let him have a decent run in the side.
