Proper game of 2 halves that. 1st half, very good, second half was nothing short of abysmal. Literally could string 3 passes together or hold onto the ball. I'm not going to go into detail on the game as I'd be here all day but I hope we get these shit performances out of our system soon. When we're bad, we're off the scale bad!

As long as he only says it publicly, I don't have a problem with it (a bit like he did with Miggy and Kelly in January). As long as Mitchell gets shot of the players we have to move on from, I don't have an issue with what Eddie says publicly (probably should have said this in my previous post )

That's my main thing at the minute. We just never know which Newcastle is going to turn up. When we're good we're really good, but when we're shit we seem to hit new depths of shitness which seem really concerning. It's really annoying. We have a big summer ahead and we need to ship quite a few players out if we can - Longstaff, Willock, Trippier, Pope, Targett, Wilson, to name a few. Then buy players who improve the first 11 and the bench who we can fetch on and can actually change a game. I don't want to hear Eddie wants to keep player A or player B. This squad needs a big refresh as if we go another season with not much improvement with the squad being another year older too, we'll massively struggle next season.

Huge game now. I agree it's a must win if we're wanting to qualify for Europe.

Eddie will have to take a lot of the blame today but we have to remember we haven't signed anyone of note for 18 months now. He's done fantastic to get us to where we are with the same squad basically. We have a huge summer ahead. The whole squad needs a refresh plus extra bodies for competition and if that means letting someone like Gordon leave for big money then so be it.
