100% agree with this. His ball retention isn't the best and he's not very good when pressed. Plus he's not really going to unlock a defence in a tight game. I love the bloke to bits, but if we are to progress as a club, we need someone better in the middle in certain games.

As has been said, it could go 1 of 2 ways, Emery either gets a tune out of all 3 and Villa become even stronger, or it's just fucked them from a PSR point of view.
