  1. This. He was below par against Blackburn really, was very impressive against Arsenal and the unwashed though. Putting him in the England squad would be a bit of a snap decision like, he has been better than most English RBs since he's come back, but he's only been back 3 games, needs to show a bit more consistency first really. Micah Richards is definitely Englands best choice at right back at the moment, Johnson is pure s****.
  2. We conceded from 2 defensive errors and our final ball let us down going forward against Blackburn. Can't really blame Hughton for that like. We have looked like a one trick pony though with no alternative game plan at times though in a few games this season. That needs to be addressed. With regards to Vuckic, it might be worth giving him a try. He could rise to the occassion of playing in the PL and have a great game or he could flop and do nothing, only way to find out is by giving him a couple of games really.
  3. Showed how much it meant to him after he f'd up, he was devastated. I'm confident he'll bounce back when he returns.
  4. It'll be a close game, will come down to how well our midfield plays I reckon. 1-0 win if they play well, 1-1 or 1-0 loss if they don't.
  5. Aye you might disagree, but Craig f***ing Bellamy would've been great. We would have a team of mad men playing, would be great to see. Couldn't agree more. Carroll and Bellamy would be a lethal partnership
  6. It was 2 mistakes and a lack of creativity/final ball that cost us yesterday. We dominated possession and territory but only managed to score from a long free kick into the box, which really underlines the creativity/final ball problem, which is what has cost us a few points already this season.
  7. He really showed his quality in the air last night beating the Blackburn defence to the majority of the balls in the air. It's already been mentioned a few times this season but if he had a pacey striker alongside him they could make an excellent partnership, Shola's not doing a bad job really, but someone with a bit more pace and quality would be a better partner for AC imo.
  8. For me, it's more a case of Hughton and the unity of the 'group of great lads' that's steering the club in the right direction, although Ashley hasn't really done anything to hinder that as of late *touch wood.* Having said that, as long as the club is going in the right direction, I don't really care who it is that's behind them getting there.
  9. As has already been mentioned, in a few places we do have adequate cover, but if the injuries were to the wrong players we'd struggle. Noone in our squad could come near to replicating the job Tiote does, if Smith had to go back there for a long period I think I'd cry.
