    Shola Ameobi

Worst first touch in the Premiership tbh. Usually followed by a pretty substandard second and third touch as well.
  2. Did really well when he came on yesterday, someone needs to teach him how to shoot though

    Joey Barton

Absolutely outstanding. Makes such a big difference having him in the team.
  4. In that case, cheers then - you can have a pint for your troubles Just make sure it's not a pint of what Messi's having
  5. I completely disagree. Everyone liked hughton, from the fans to the players, to the rest of football pretty much. We need to boo to show how much we don't approve of what has happened. We support the team as always and that won't change, but we need to voice our opinions immediately. I think you're missing the point. We need the media to see and hear this. The Hughton chants would be a better way of showing this though. What exactly has booing and anti-Ashley chants achieved for us so far? Putting pressure on Pardew/Ashley/Llambias and starving the club of income is the way to go if we want Ashley to atleast think twice. Starving the club of income is completely irrelevant to booing Ashley/Pardew. Booing has done f*** all in the past, and isn't likely to change now tbh. More chance of Ashley having an epiphany in which he realises he's a stupid c***, pumps money into the club and rehires Hughton. Pro-Chris chants would be a way of showing thanks for what he did for the club as well as displaying displeasure in the last weeks happenings.

  7. While this may be an unpopular view, I don't see what the boo's are going to achieve. It's not going to make Ashley/Pardew leave, it's not going to get Hughton back in charge. We need to get behind the players to try and push them on. If we want to make a protest, do it by singing Hughton's name, not by booing.

    Alan Pardew

Alan Pardew is better than Alex Ferguson and will bring more success to us than Fergie brought to Man Utd. I'm also not a compulsive liar.
  9. The only logic I can really think of as to why Hughton was sacked is that Ashley is going to give the manager some money to spend in January and would rather give it to someone other than Hughton, that has probably already been lined up. But then it's a lot more likely that there's no logic behind his decision and we'll be spending little to no money in January, which makes the former part of this post completely irrelevant.
  10. With Ashley, that's a very plausible suggestion.
  11. Because he's not Pardew You are aware our chairman is Mike Ashley, not Corleone?
  12. With a man at the top that'll give you very limited resources to work with, and then if you do a good job with those limited resources he'll sack you anyway, no, I don't think we can attract a decent manager.
  13. How the f*** can you justify sacking a manager for taking a team with Smith, Guthrie and Ameobi in the squad to 11th in the PL. F***ing joke

    Football pet hates

Just out of interest, why Atlético? I've always liked them for some reason unbeknown to me.
  15. Leeds fans I know still love him, after it was revealed why he joined Man Utd, which was after the friendly at SJP hence why they still boo'd.
  16. Hughton's done a good job with the squad we've got. To say he should be sacked is absolute s****. With regards to the upcoming fixtures, we picked up 10 points from Chelsea, Arsenal, Everton and Villa, 4 of the better sides in the league. There's no saying we can't pick up points in the next few games.
  17. I'd like No.64, either home or away. I think we'll end up away to Everton though.
  18. a y tube opinion, but I wasnt impressed. By the same token, Jonathan Legear looked just the player we need. We were linked with him a few weeks ago. Has anyone heard any more? there was a kid (striker) from groningen aswell. He denied any knowledge of transfer interest in him: http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11678_6526477,00.html
