  1. I'd be very surprised if we got Coleman tbh, I imagine there would be quite a few clubs in for him if he doesn't extend his contract at Everton, which I think he will. Jonathon Spector might be alright as a squad player.
  2. Aye, programme starts at 7:30, KO at 8
  3. 95% spectacular 5% dick. He is class and has potentially done himself a favour by staying in Brazil until he matures a bit instead of coming to Yurop early doors. His finish for the 4th was mint like.

    Players in public

Seen Nile Ranger in Aspers earlier tonight
  5. ...and he f***ing walked off? Broke two metatarsals and walked half a mile home. You don't always realise ... I broke my arm when I was younger and didn't realise it was broken until about 5 days later, just thought it was badly bruised.

    Sunderland...

the penny has dropped on the smb too. I'd say less 'penny' and more 'nuclear bomb' wouldn't make much difference to the scenery or locals Probably be an improvement
  7. Ideal replacement for Bent for the mackems like
  8. If he goes I hope the scum splash out most of the 18m on someone on a par with Stephane Guivarch. Wishful thinking though really.
  9. They didn't even manage to spell his name correctly on the thread title, bless them.

    La Liga - 10/11

Agreed. Pedro is a quality player and works increadibly hard for the team, not to say that Rooney wouldn't, but I'd rather have Pedro in the Barca first XI.

Henrique is still a Barca player but is out on loan I think. Marquez is playing for New York Red Bulls and Chygrynskiy is back in Ukraine iirc.

Yea, I thought you were a bit thin, particularly in the centre back department. I can only really think of Milito as a back up CB unless you move Abidal inside. Caceres is still a Barca player as well isn't he? How's he been playing this season? It was more just the idea of improving the first XI that crept into my mind. Pretty much every team can always sign a player who will improve their first XI, but I couldn't really think of one for Barca, with the exception of maybe Evra or Casillas, with the likelihood of the latter happening being about 0%. EDIT: Aren't they trying to groom Thiago to be Xavi's replacement?

Probably the commentator on the link I was watching it on, I think Nova Sports was the channel. I know he was picking out Jose, Colo and Barton a lot for praise.

I was thinking about this yesterday when watching Barca. Who could they actually sign to improve their first XI? For me, while C.Ron is a better player than Pedro, I don't think he'd improve the Barca first XI, as the balance they have up top at the moment is pretty much spot on. I don't think C.Ron would press the opposition defence as much, which Barca do a lot. Possibly a new LB, although Abidal's a very good player. What's anyone elses opinion on this? VI in particular.

Did very well when he came on. Hopefully, whenever he plays, we'll see more performances like that from him.
  16. F***ing love seeing that chicken dance
  17. Amazing. Did pretty much everything perfectly.
  18. Commentator on the site I was watching the match on said about Jose, "the game's too easy for him at times, he can just do everything."
  19. Would've taken the point before hand, but with the way we outplayed them for the vast majority of the game and then to concede an injury time equaliser really makes it feel like 2 points dropped. Great performance though
  20. If we sign him, chances are we'd need another striker in the summer for next season anyway. Surely, we'd be much better going for a loan option on a striker of quality similar to Bothroyds rather than permanently signing Bothroyd himself, as we'd be spending money on someone to do a job (and they aren't proven to be able to do it) for half a season. Doesn't make sense really.
  21. Crap attitude and not really the type of striker that we need. No thanks.

    That's ridiculous like
  23. Xavi's best position is definitely deeper rather than an AMC position. He's, without a doubt, the best in the world at just controlling the game from the centre of the park, which he can do better from a deeper position.
