  1. Most people forget that it often takes a season to adjust to a new league and especially the speed of the premier league. Ronaldo wasn't all that shit hot in his first couple of seasons at United and Evra and Vidic struggled badly in their first season.
  2. These mini runs that we go on seems to pull the wool over the eyes of fans and press alike. So much so that the consecutive derby defeats, routine 4-0 losses back to back and generally poor play and tactics are successfully brushed under the carpet. It's like one big PR exercise that infuriatingly seems to be successful.
  3. Yeah we've heard the same shit before. His intensity means cluelessly running around without a game plan
  4. He's had a handful of decent games here and there but he's absolute gash man, end of. He's a barometer for our club at the moment that the board/manager are happy to have a player like that in the 1st team. Says it all.
  5. I'm expecting the usual headless chicken stuff from our lot while Sunderland as limited as they are will have a distinct gameplan and come out and play safely but concisely. Poyet has Pardews number and they know how to beat us. Nothing changes my mind that Pardew has any idea how to manage this fixture whatsoever. I'm expecting a nervy draw but wouldn't be surprised if they edge it 2-1.
  6. And yet with all that talent, HBA can't adhere to even the most basic rules of being a "professional" footballer. He's not Messi ffs. People should put their hatred for Pardew aside for one second and judge this lad on his consistent behaviour with a number of managers. It's a shame but that's the way it is.
  7. Yes yesterday was classic Pardew really. Yes we were outplayed but he got it totally wrong
  8. Spot on, I was expecting to lose anyway. We'd lost after the first 5-10 mins
  9. From what a mate tells me who is fairly ITK he's pretty keen to leave and go searching for more £££ so it wouldn't surprise me if the club cash in what with Abeid there ready to step in.
  10. Had is time, hopefully he'll be sold in January. He's too hectic a player, great tackle one minute, gives the ball away next minute, gets booked again after that. Not fussed about him at all anymore really
  11. It was clear e badly missed Sissoko in midfield but as good as they were we basically allowed Arsenal to play how they wanted. For me it was clear from the off we were going to lose the game. We could do with getting Aaron's involved again to offer a bit more zip on the wings, I think Cisse would benefit more from that. It was just the same old shit at Arsenal which was depressing really but to be honest despite recent good results we'll always have a result like this in our locker with Pardews limitations and players like Williamson hovering around the side.
  12. Scored some awesome goals, great memories and yes probably mismanaged by Pardew too. But there's something chronically wrong with him if time and time again he's falling out with managers. You'd have thought going to Hull he'd have been desperate to prove a point but yet again it seems he's just not that fussed or generally lacking professionalism. I think there's a few on here who need to move on from HBA now really, he's been and gone.
  13. Yep. There was no reason for Williamson to have played when Haidara and Dummett have been more than comfortable. Totally agree, this bloke should only be starting if no other option. He's shite, always has been, always will be.
  14. Did extremely well against Chelsea, as usual dogshit against Arsenal away. A few missing but Gouffran man, just offers nothing. I was just disappointed we didn't threaten them AT ALL and they had Debeuchy at centre half ffs
  15. Never mind 10 years he'll probably be sold in the next 18 months anyway
  16. Great news but he's got a long way to go before we can start thinking about who he replaces in the side. A long way and he has to prove he can stay fit.
  17. Ashley's a twatt, Pardew will always be an odious arse but some people need to have a word with themselves over Ben Arfa and look at the crux of the issue rather than half baked ideas for his ongoing downfall. Cracking player on his day, awesome talent but the evidence is there for all to see. For whatever reason this lad just can't get his down properly. It's a shame but that's the way it is.
  18. I still don't like Pardew, I still can't stand Ashley, I can't see myself going to the match but I am actually kind of enjoying the football now that these young lads are playing. Dare I say it's "interesting" at times and there seems to be some spirit.
  19. I'd be amazed if we got anything today given we're so poor at both ends.
  20. this is a prime example of unadulterated waffle that comes out of his mouth
  21. I have to try and avoid his interviews, they wind me up too much. It's when he starts saying "ya know Mike really loves this club" that really makes me blood boil. It's going to be good watching him soon because I don't expect anything from our next couple of league games and think we have little chance of getting anything off West Brom if they have a go at us. It could be the end of November and QPR at home before we get our next points and even then we might struggle if the shithead is still here. His smug grin in tv interviews quickly sends me into a rage too The interviews are utterly pointless anyway, just 100% waffle and PR bullshit.
