  1. Totally agree. Watching us play is like watching paint dry at the moment.
  2. The difference with our club is that the owner is completely indifferent to style of play and given the ultimate aim is to finis mid table and not get relegated the manager can essentially do whatever he wants and won't be removed. The concept of removing Pardew, interviewing managers, bringing someone new in, negotiating contracts, money for new players just isn't something Ashley is going to consider while he's owner IMO. The fans are still pouring in watching this turgid football so as long as the stands are full and we don't go down that'll do for Ashley while he's here.
  3. I hated Allardyce when he was he here but even he is completely showing up Pardew now. Atleast he can organise a defence and having moved Downing into a number 10 role and tried to play more offensively atleast he's shown he's willing to budge a bit on style of play.
  4. Have they cut him off yet or has John Anderson talked down to him yet? Why does "Ando" constantly go on about it being unrealistic financially to expect someone to come in and bank roll the club to challenge Chelsea, Man City etc? WE f***ing KNOW THAT YOU KNOB HEAD. What we expect is a realistic outlay on players in relation to income, to have a go in the cups and aim realistically at 6th-8th in the league. Really does my head in when he trotts out that line. He is a moron, he is not worth talking to. He just rolls out the same old stuff after puffing out his cheeks. And take that brilliant call on total sport at 9.20 which I've just listened to again. He never actually EVER discusses or analyses anything which someone says when they're bang on the money. It always goes back to "yeah but dis ownah" or "we can't compete financially with Chelsea......" Just side stepping anything vaguely controversial. Boring as f***

  6. I heard him briefly on totally sport saying something along the lines of "you know Mike really loves this club". That's the type of comment that makes my blood boil and he wanders why people think he's a patsy/charlatan/cunt ffs. Fuck off
  7. IMO, you're wrong. Get rid of the s*** manager and bring in a positive manager and we'll be OK. The longer we keep Pardew the harder staying up becomes. Lose today, sack the s*** and replace him with a good manager and the whole atmosphere around the club will change. This is exactly what's needed unfortunately we have that moron who owns the club
  8. It could get really interesting if he loses against Leicester To be honest I've stopped reading a lot of the stuff at the moment. Partly because I'm bored if it all but secondly dislocated my shoulder on sat so have other painful concerns currently :-/ Apathy, grim
  9. Mike Williamson he's shit man, always has been. When he starts sounding the rallying call you know we're fucked
  10. It's a must win but whether we'll get it is another thing altogether, they look like a decent side.
  11. This just emphasises everything that is ridiculous at the club
  12. This knacka actually sounded confident in an interview I heard yesterday. 1 win in 7 games this session with a distinctly tough run looming. Jesus
  13. Be interesting to see how this situation pans out in the next few months, could have a major impact on what happens here
  14. 7 games gone and no win yet with this knacka in charge dear oh dear
  15. Ashley is clearly clueless about football and only listens to those in his "inner circle" even if they're also utterly clueless so anything is possible really. This isn't a normal football club anymore, it's become a parody.
  16. Because the owner doesn't give two fucks about the fans and quality of football. Unless we are languishing in the bottom 3 deep into December and there looks to be a genuine chance of us going down (in his opinion - we the fans all know there's a genuine risk) Pardew isn't going anywhere.
  17. People should be supporting Rangers this season. There's only one automatic promotion place back to the prem and if they can get that then in my opinion the chances of him leaving goes up massively. Unfortunately Rangers are a bit off the pace at the moment behind Hearts.
  18. Draw has given him some breathing room but he's still fucked. We can't defend for shit so god knows what the quality teams coming up will do to us. Leicester will give is a tough game at home, we could easily draw or lose that and then it starts getting really difficult after that. Cisse has bailed him out at just the right time but we still haven't won and he's still only barely clinging on.
  19. Can't believe Swansea didn't put us away. We really can't defend for shit either! Coloccini dear oh dear
  20. He's going to look utterly ridiculous if loses again today, refuses to resign and still keeps rolling out the "we have to show fight" & "I love this club" blah blah
  21. Not surprised by this, and to be honest he has done no worse than anyone else this season They're all shit currently anyway
  22. I'm desperate for a Swansea win, no doubt about it and no shame in admitting it
  23. If we get turned over good and proper tomorrow which is more likely to happen than not, is this fucker STILL going to be in a job?
